Storing Reloading "Stuff"

In an 11'x11' workshop I built a workbench for my presses and vice, bolted it to the walls to the corner. Then I bought a Kobalt workbench for my scales and storage - solid, heavy, pressed-wood (?) top. When my wife renovated our kitchen, they were going to toss the 'island.' I had them drag it to my workshop which I use the top for cleaning/maintenance on rifles, cabinet for powder and bullets, and double drawers for keeping rifle and pistol primers separate.

BTW - Kitchen renovators will often give or sell for cheap the islands and cabinets. That's where I picked up the nicely stained wall cabinets for my garage and reloading room.

Old Hand Tools

Axe that I got from my grandpa that I rehandled back in 2022. Posted it in the Wood working thread. Was recently doing some linseed on the handle but no pics of that. Walnut wedge.

Draw knife that belonged to my great-grandfather. J. S. Cantelo marked. Patent date of 1883 on it. Locks straight and swept back as well.

Asked about sharpening it on Shop Talk Live podcast and they answered. 54:17-1:02:00
I have a lot of drawknives that I use and have one of these. It’s a good knife. I keep some sharp, mid sharp and somewhat dull for various work, especially on selfbows. What they said on that podcast regarding the backside bevel is true, but I have one that an old timer put a huge bevel on and for rough work it allows me to get a bite of wood and pop it off when I need to. I used to think the knife was ruined, but I figured out why it was modified. Definitely not a fine work knife but very useful.

Low light hunting scope FFP?

On the "budget" end compared to your $3k cap, id look at the S&B Klassik 3-12x42, or 2.5-10x56

I like the form factor of the 3-12x42, but the 2.5-10x56 is the no kidding winner for your low light scenario.

They were selling for $1300 from EuroOptics, but i think they are North of $1500 now.

IIRC the P3L is in improved Mildot with an illuminated center cross.
