Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Boomers invented the garden hose.

Fight me. 🤣
I’ll write you a slightly off-color strongly worded , but polite, letter. In cursive. And yes, even an idiot will be able to read it. And I’ll actually sign it in cursive with my full name, not some ego driven scribble. And you’ll be able to read that too.

At a minimum:

Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Last month it took about 48 hours….it would have been much much faster had I not used silencershop. If you have a local ffl that will file for you and do the prints…I’ve had stuff approved in 26 hours.

Clearly now is the time, especially if you see a vendor giving out free tax stamps like how silencershop does from time to time.

I am curious, how many folks have the patience to leave it at their FFL and wait to fill out the paperwork until after Jan 1st?

Have had one approved faster than 26 hours through Silencer Shop. As long as everything gets filed then it’s up to the ATF how fast it rolls through. Not who filed it. I like Silencer Shop as it’s so easy when they already have your prints and pic and it’s a few clicks and it’s submitted.

And I am buying what I want now as I can see the waits increasing with the demand when the stamp is free. Three of the four I bought this year had free stamps.

Storing Reloading "Stuff"

In an 11'x11' workshop I built a workbench for my presses and vice, bolted it to the walls to the corner. Then I bought a Kobalt workbench for my scales and storage - solid, heavy, pressed-wood (?) top. When my wife renovated our kitchen, they were going to toss the 'island.' I had them drag it to my workshop which I use the top for cleaning/maintenance on rifles, cabinet for powder and bullets, and double drawers for keeping rifle and pistol primers separate.

BTW - Kitchen renovators will often give or sell for cheap the islands and cabinets. That's where I picked up the nicely stained wall cabinets for my garage and reloading room.
