Maybe I'm totally OCD, but it seems like I screw the pooch all the time on reloading. Can't quite get my shoulder bump right. Load too long, get pressure signs, just generally always fucking up (stoopid locking rings from the other night).
I'll watch videos and people get their .002 bump and I've never gotten that, and I can't even keep it consistent for some reason. I set it and then some are okay, some are not.
My 6GT is so damn short that even at 2.500 is was jammed into the lands and causing pressure spikes with 33.5 Grains of varget.
Maybe I'm just bitching out loud after a hard week in the reloading room, but it seems like I'm the only one who ever screws up. Example: ruined a perfectly good piece of brass by accidently smacking it off center into a mandrel.
Anyone else feel that or is everyone a smooth reloader and I should take up knitting?
Sounds like abandonment of your homies lives for profit to me.
Whatever it takes to keep the graft flowing on both sides of the pond.
I would think that more ukes are going to learn to speak Russian willingly or not.
If my government turned thier back on me (to that extent) I would probably chose to replace it.
Oh, my bad. That's what started this in the first damn place.
Putin would have probably stopped with the Russian speaking oblasts and called it a win for him and "his" people. I would bet on it.
But no it was "operation stuff my offshore bank account " from the onset.
Sad that I don't see my "arch enemy" the commie basterds as the bad guys in all this. Maybe the Russian cyops team has spiked my coffe.
It seems our efforts would be better spent in Mexico and South America killing cartels weather thier crooked ass governments like it or not. Maybe thier people would go back home where they belong on thier own.
We have more important battles to fight on our own continent than any other place on the planet.

Just saying that the LHT 4.5-22 is the most disappointing $2000 retail scope I've ever had. It's been hard to find a rifle to put it on and has sat in the safe much of the time. On a light pcp air rifle pellet gun right now that I don't shoot much - not my favorite air rifle or scope so....First off, I’d like to thank @Glassaholic for putting together all those excellent comparison reviews.
In my case; I am trying to Narrow Down My Optic Choices – Real-World Input Appreciated
Not a pro by any means, so take this as a user doing their homework and trying to make an informed decision. I’m in the process of researching scopes—specifically how they track, their durability, weight, and general usability in the field.
I've noticed a lot of reviews out there seem polished by influencers or reviewers who are trying hard to like the product, even when there are obvious drawbacks. That’s fine, but what I’m really after is insight from those who have actual field time behind these optics.
I’ve broken down my search into three categories:
Hunting Use:
Seriously considering the Schmidt & Bender 3-18x42mm META. It looks solid from a build and optical standpoint, but the price is a major hurdle. If I get over that, it might be the one.
In the meantime, I’m also looking at:
- Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50 – decent magnification range, compact, but I’ve read mixed things about eye box and clarity.
- Leupold Mark 5HD 3.6-18x44 – seems like a good balance of weight, glass, and tracking, though I’m unsure how it holds up under heavier field use.
- Vortex Razor LHT 4.5-22x50 ?? – lightweight and solid reticle options; good deals pop up occasionally.
Target/Competition Use:
Here I’m looking for solid tracking, repeatability, and a reticle that won’t hold me back.
- Kahles K328i 3.5-28x50 – love the magnification range and turret feel.
- Kahles K525i 5-25x56 – classic choice, well-reviewed.
- Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 – bombproof reputation, though heavier than I’d like for crossover use.
Best of Both Worlds (Hunting + Precision):
I really like the March-F Tactical 3-24x42—the specs are excellent and it looks like a true hybrid option. That said, I’ve read some user feedback mentioning tight eye box and issues with fast target acquisition, especially under pressure or in field positions. I'm also struggling to justify the cost when compared to optics like the Razor LHT and Leupold. If it really outperforms those in meaningful, real-world ways, I’m open to it—but it would need to be a clear step up.
I know there are a ton of excellent optics out there that many of you probably prefer. I'm just trying to narrow things down based on my needs and budget. If anyone has real field or match time behind any of the scopes I mentioned, I’d really appreciate your input—especially on tracking consistency, durability in hard use, and whether the premium price on higher-end glass actually translates to meaningful performance gains in real-world scenarios.
Appreciate any insight you guys can share—thanks in advance.
