7PRC vs 7PRCW

I had to look it up and the AI summary made me laugh:

AI Overview

The 7PRCW and 7-6.5PRCW are essentially the same cartridge, with 7PRCW being a more common name according to Wheeler Accuracy. It's a necked-down version of the 6.5 PRC, and the "CW" designation indicates a corrected base diameter to prevent potential issues. The 7 PRC, on the other hand, is a SAAMI-standard cartridge that is not simply a necked-down version of the 6.5 PRC.
😄

I had heard of the 7-6.5PRC, just not the 7PRCW designation.
Thats what I talking about good ole AI hasn't quite got it figured out

Ukraine war Bullshit.

And you are proving what?
Europe has a 2000+ year history of various groups raping and pillaging their way back and forth across the continent.
Your "country" was stomped into the mud face first many times, including not all that long ago.
Most of "Russia" used to be ruled by the Mongols;
A good part of the "aristocracy" of old "Russia" came from Nordic / Scandinavian countries.
Poland used to own a large part of what you call "your" "country".
The Germans and the French both took turns marching across your country and on into Russia in their own turns.
Poland used to show you who was boss big time back in the day.

It's always the same thing, just different names and actions.
The Yamnaya came from what is now called Ukraine 5,000 years ago and their Y-DNA makes up what is modern Europe, displacing the Anatolian Neolithic Farmers, using the technology of horse drawn carts and bronze weapons, the modern countries of Russia and Ukraine infilled with Slavic and Nordic peoples after the Yamnaya left, Yamnaya offshoots R1a, Cordedware and Bell Beaker R1b.

Ukraine war Bullshit.

When you return to reality...
find the reports of all observers from our elections and read the conclusions carefully.
They state that the elections were held in accordance with all legal norms and the elected people are legitimate.
Even Yanukovych was a legitimate president. Unfortunately, he fled.

7PRC vs 7PRCW

Looking to hunt with it out of a short barrel with a suppressor when I say Short I mean 20 inches. Every time you Google it that stupid AI gets a seven PRC and seven PRCW all mixed up and it starts throwing crap out there. That’s not even relevant.

I still think that you'll get more horsepower out of a 20" 7PRC than you will a 7-6.5PRCW. The only downside to the 7PRC will be blast and recoil.

SOLD WTS/WTT Swarovski Z8i 2-16x50

Absolutely like new Z8i, I don't see a mark on it anywhere. It's been mounted but hasn't seen a round yet. BRXi reticle.

Bought it as an A Demo from EO over the winter, and it's just not what I need.

My loss is your gain! $2900 shipped/insured, or $2850 ftf.

Trade interests: Something along the lines of a S&B Klassic 2.5-10x56 or 3-12x50 illuminated, Zeiss V4 3-12x56 or V6 2-12x50 with $60 reticle, maybe a Leica Amplus6 2.5-15x56, + $$. Another possibility would be a 10x NL Pure, + some $$ for a 42, straight across for a 52.

Id like to see some real world numbers (FPS) with 162 and 175 grain bullets out of both. So far I have not found any.

So basically a sitting Connecticut Senator just called for Civil War?

Is there a different way to interpret this?

I mean... the left has been looking for WW3 and a new American Civil War for years. Are they really saying the quiet part out loud now?

IIRC, I said after the election that things were going to get even more dangerous now. Because if the left can't 'have America' they will burn it down. Assuming that nice pure Socialism (you know, that's never been tried yet?) will arise from the ashes. That's been their vision pretty much for a century.

So... what does the DoJ do when a sitting Senator is calling for Insurrection? I mean, they went after Trump for it.

Guess the Autopen crisis has them really spooked, so they better darn well Burn Down urban America to make sure noone realizes that The Potato was not home and his whole presidency is null and void!

Rifle Scopes New S&B 10-60x

wooferocau,

Have you noticed any difference in the ease parallax adjustment/ability to get ride of parallax from the 10-60 vs 5-45, people keep talking about loses in performance with a 9x zoom scope vs a 6x, I wondered if parallax was one of those areas?

They are almost 6oz different in weight, for the FCSA 50BMG competitions that does not matter in the classes I am shooting. For F-class the 10-60 is where I need to be for weight. I am tempted to put a 5-45 on my 50BMG....I would get one with .05 clicks and the reticle most similar to the 10-60 reticle.

Anyway really interested to hear your thoughts on parallax. Thanks ahead!
Parallax IMO is better on the 5-45....once you are at 1000yds and beyond it just set and forget and its very consistent. After using both the "NEW" Gen and the "OLD" Gen S&B,s... i much prefer the old parallax/focus dial in both feel and size.

The 5-45 is a long/heavy optic...but that suits my application just fine....its not the optic you put on a compact carry firearm
!!

I have 3 5-45,s now ....1 with .5cm MT turrets....and 2 with 1cm DT2+ Turrets.......the .5cm MT is definitely my pick.

The LRR-MIL reticle is basically the reticle on the 10-60 with a ranging stadia in the left of the optic. I LOVE the LRR reticle ..the centre dot is 16mm at 1000yds so its very fine.......again suits my preference.

Pics below...
5-45 .5cm MT on my 375CT... LRR Reticle... at 15 x 25x 40x ( 2000yds)

The other pic is the 10-60 with the M1FL Reticle at approx 28x ( 1000yds)
