Savage Impulse 1 year update

True but at least you don't have to put up with that silly safety blade or whatever they call it.
I've never had an issue with an Accutrigger on my rifles and I've only had to repair Accutriggers someone has played with to give them a lighter pull weight than what they were intended to have.
I didn't see your other post about the Jard Impulse trigger or I would've bought one earlier.
At least Jard has given Impulse owners a choice and maybe now some stock manufacturers will follow their lead.

Varget in 6mm GT (sorry so fabulous i forgot to add which 6)

Pfft. I grew up loading Unique in pistol and shotgun rounds. Still do. That stuff seems akin to black powder wrt fouling.

But the nastiest "modern" powder for me is CFE223. Greasy black fouling in .223... but hey, it meters so nice so it's a go-to for bulk ammo loaded on a progressive press.

Driven by pricing, I too am a convert to VV powders from Hodgdon - N135 for .223 with 75/77gr bullets, N150 for 6BR. I haven't noticed any difference in fouling compared to Varget.

Minnesota politicians shot by someone impersonating police officer

Just remember that if KamelToe had gotten elected... that wizard would have been appointed to some place where he could go after political enemies. I am sure Walz would have made sure he was embedded like a Tick in the FBI or ATF or Intel community with carte blanche to eliminate anyone who might have been a threat.

And read his 'bio. He wasn't just some nutjob. He ran close protection and security contracts all over the world. So he was trained. How the hell he managed to 'not' get away with the four this weekend tells me he was not as competent as he'd like to think he was. But he had the motivation and the mindset. And nailed four people.. before he slipped up.

If he was any good, people would be scratching their heads and looking for a ghost. Good thing he was not as good as his 'Bio' implied.

Sirhr

yeah, all of that makes me scratch my head. wtf.

and then the fat roommate says " he came home from africa and was looking for a job the last three months in food service."

There aint nothing thats adding up on this. you are right, if he'd be half what his credentials and resume say he is, this should have been an easy in and out with no traces and damn sure wouldnt have left those two alive.

its all pretty fishy, i dont believe any of it.

Rifle Scopes New bushnell XRS3 has illumination!!

I emailed Bushnell asking when they would have more DMR3's with the EQL reticle in stock and got a response from them the same day. Hopefully its a sign they're turning things around regarding CS.

I'm impatient and found a used one here on the hide and bought it instead. This will be my second DMR3 - I regretted selling my first one back in January. I also recently bought one of their Match Pro ED 3-18's for my "practice" gun and have been really impressed with it for the price.

I have owned most everything in the $1500-2000+ range - NF ATACR's, NX8's, Mark 5HD's, T6xi's etc, and the DMR3 has been one of my favorite scopes to get behind. I wish it wasn't, because I'm shallow and Bushnell makes ugly looking scopes (come on Bushy, the "Elite Tactical" branding looks cheesy af), and you get zero cool points for having a Bushnell on your gun, which is actually important to me. But the truth is, Bushnell makes a pretty good scope.
I represent the Average Joes Shooting Coalition and we support your position on trying to look cool at the range. I'm sending you our Operators sticker kit for your scope and rifle : Sparta helmet, Gadsden and Punisher decals to cover any embarrassing factory logos.
