PVS-4 focus grabby- frustrated

Thank you for the reply and recommendation. However, seeing that I am not subsidized with taxpayer money there's no way I can justify government contract pricing. $150+ per ounce is unreasonable for grease. I will check out Dow 33. Any other suggestions are welcome. I'm still wondering if the objective focus ring is really supposed to be run dry, as per what I deduce from the manual.
I did, in fact, try silicone grease and it effectively solved the binding problem, but the result was exactly as you said, it migrates pretty badly.

Magpul - 2025 New Maztech X4-FCS & X4-LRF

I mean honestly, if it doesn’t matter to most if it’s berry or non berry compliant then it’s all good. For me, I always ask the manufacturer or vendor before buying any lasers. Rather we care if it’s 100 % DOD approved is all up to the buyer. I’m just laying it down to anyone who is concern if it is or not. Really it doesn’t matter.. Believe or not to believe. Let’s move on..

Why just lasers? how about scopes? is something unique about the lasers? I'm just curious. Never heard of this before so

Toughest scope mounts?

Curious why the most pro use them in competition is it that they have more giveaways or sponsorships then?

I highly doubt this is true especially today with so many as good or better options for less out there. Some people use them but there are many others out there that won’t crack. Seems like you have your heart set on a Spuhr so spend the money and get it but I wouldn’t. I’d be looking at Area419, ARC, MPA, Seekins or Hawkins.
