Ukraine war Bullshit.

It's payday and they are lining up for their Zelensky handjob

turns out they're busy today causing a 1B USD worth of damage to puccias strategic bomber fleet

Nope, just have the ability to perfectly read between the lines. Keep shilling, it behooves those who employ you.

I respect your confidence in your own infallible omniscience. My grandpa was also stubborn as a horse and stuck in his ways before he died too.

R700 300wm to 7prc advice needed..

I was looking to reduce recoil and just thought it would be fun to go with a new caliber, it would definitely be a lot cheaper just staying with 300wm though I read 7prc uses h1000 and retumbo which I have both of. I’d really just have to buy brass, projectiles, and dies.
You can reduce recoil by shooting lighter bullets over min charges with the 300wm. The thing with the 7mm is you are going to get a much higher BC for the recoil say shooting a 180g bullet.

We have killed lots of elk with 243s, 308s, 25/06, 30/30, 30/06. I used to hunt with a kid who had a spoterizrd arisaka in 7.7 mm what ever. Grandpa killed a huge bull before I was born with his 1895 30/40 Kraig.

Elk aren't hard to kill. Choose the right bullet and put it in the right spot.

Hensoldt 3,5-26x56 vs PMII

With your budget, you should be looking at Tangent Theta if you want the best of the best.

I recall Ilya saying the Hensoldt 3.5-26 wasn't good.
3.5-26x56 Hensoldt was designed for a very specific set of requirements European military wanted. They wanted lots of clicks in a single turn, along with short overall length and broad mag range for use with clip-ons. I think the weird battery compartment also comes out of a requirement of some sort (perhaps battery type).

It has been a while, so I do not remember what else was there exactly. I think they also wanted a ton of adjsutment range. 40mrad or something like that.

As a result, you got a scope that was not great optically compared to other alpha class scopes that did not have to face the same limitations and that had arguably the crappies turret feel out of the bunch (out of a bunch of very nice scopes, that is).

I think the last iteration I saw of that scope had somewhat better turrets, but still very closely spaced clicks.

Reticle choices were also truly uninspiring as I recall, and it was really heavy.

Unless you have the exact same set of requirements that their military customer did, you can get more for your money with several designs from other companies, especially now that everyone got better anyway.

ILya

talk me outta a MOA scope….😳

I mean 1 mil is 10 centimeters at 100 meters. Every click at 1/10 is 1 cm

And 1 moa at 100 yards is 1 inch which is .25 moa per click in a 1/4 turret.

If you prefer 1 mil is 3.6 inches at as each click is .9 inches, be my guest.

Mils work best with metric unit and moa work best with imperial.

When people use yards with the mil system it drives me nuts. If one is going to adopt the mil system, everything is so much easier with meters and centimeter.

Reminds me of how army used to use the 10x Leupold with mil dots and moa turrets lol
What is easier with mils and meters, and how does that pertain to shooting?

Why would my dope chart only say 3.5 mils for 600 yards. And give a 10mph wind correction in mils. 🤔🤔🤔

300 is a superior elk cartridge.

You said hornady doesn’t produce mv data. They do

Cip magazines only fit cip bottom metal. It’s not just a magazine cost?
You are welcome to your opinion on which is the superior elk cartridge, as am I. You're wrong with your opinion.
You have a reading comprehension problem, I said Hornady hasn't made their published velocities, which obviously means, they published velocities and didn't achieve them.
You're right, I was off base about the 300 PRC and yes, it would require different bottom metal.

Ukraine war Bullshit.

The gov & left is full Shills & bots, who have never done or never will do anything but lip, as before the net they had no where to spout their shit w/o the chance of,... instant,... reprisal.
You're at least 78 years old and still think anyone who disagrees with you is a shill or a bot?

Rt saying there was another truck launched drone attack similar to the one in Murmansk.

lol. lmao even. a country with a nuclear triad losing submarines and strategic bomber aircraft to a country with no nukes, subs or strategic bombers. This war reads like a russian humiliation ritual.
