The other day, someone reposted in another forum what I listed here in the BST forum within 10 minutes of my posting. They will also create profiles similar to the original poster, like BrainPTR, BrianPRT, etc, and then reply to people here.

Also, I always accept PayPal G&S for payment if anyone requests to use it.

Been a good week for knocking out a couple projects. A couple of the guys at deer camp “insulated” our hut. The wood stove would have had it melted in short order. I put a proper pad under the stove and some fiber board and leftover siding behind it. Should be good to go now.



Second project was making this small deck as a replacement for a too small step. Watching my 89 and 90 yr old parents negotiate that step puckered me up every time. This should prove safer…


Will let it sit a couple weeks to be sure it’s completely dry before adding any finish…

I own two MK5 5-25s and love them. I might buy a third someday.

Some people’s experiences with Leupold are dated, and with older models from a different time frame, so best to ask for a date of information from a user if you have doubts about their opinions.

Every single time I look through one, I am surprised how popular they are. Glass sucks and sight picture is small. MK5 are not that good.
