My vote is take the 6.5 conversion and see what a 95gr Vmax does. I’ll bet 3300fps.
Pushing 2950 with 143gr puts it into the 6.5 PRC territory.
Granted, big game just gets 338LM. Because why not.
But, yeah… I still want something screaming at 4000FPS out of my SRS to obliterate a prairie dog.

Here's a great piece of gear I want to share with the community! With AI and modern internet dodginess, small businesses can be hard to find; I don't see anything currently on the hide. Additionally messing up our AI guided searches, this comes from a hunting guide and mainly bow hunting company.

It's the best case I've found and used to date, and I've been using it for several years now and have several. It's simple, slick nylon inside and out (helps retrieval and transport packing), big zippers, folds flat, built in shoulder strap, and fair price. No BS gimmicks or tacticool nonsense. For and Range, suppressors, hunting, cars, trucks, XL bipods, NVG, Thermal, other BS attached, or airport hard case liner transport it's a go-to. “Drag bag” if you want, it’ll preform better than a BS tactical bag.

It takes decades to build that kind of infrastructure

I am always looking forward to advances, but LAPUA is a known quantity and a very good one

I choose what cartridges I am going to shoot based on whether or not they make a case for it

On the other hand, can other manufacturers catch up? Of course. Peterson makes a damn fine. 375CHEYTAC case.

But all the talk of Lapua ignores the fact that RWS is the real king of the hill if anyone wants to bother to measure a lot of cases with water. The standard deviation on my 50BMG RWS cases is almost so small as to be immeasurable. It was half that of LAPUA which was a fraction of a grain

Keystone Pipeline Conspiracy Theories?

With that many leaks in that few years of operation of a new line, sounds like they bought shitty pipe.

I spent about 15 years as the materials purchasing lead for a major pipeline company. The quality of purchased components is essential to safe operations. We bought domestic parts, with the exception of some fittings made in Italy by Tectubi, which were the best fittings made at the time. Been a few years, so I don't know if that is still true.
