KRG Whiskey 3 Chassis-Let's See Them

Not coming with both size grips is a bit lame too. My buddy still had to do a bit of inletting for the hanger on his Tempest. One day they’ll have enough clearance.
They truly love nickel and diming everyone for accessories. Not using Mlok rails is kind of lame too, at least on the spigot. 30.99 for a 5 slot pic rail...

Accessories Harris bipod SLM 9-13 with RRS btc arca/pic head, podlok, flawless!

Harris slm 9-13, rrs btc arca/pic harris head and pod lock upgrade. Includes original Harris sling swivel mount also. Put this together for my wife just to find out it’s too tall for her and it’s just not a good fit for her. Entire thing is unused other then one zero session with maybe 20 shots from prone on a 22lr. Absolutely perfect other then the little scratch on the pod lock lever in photo. Not sure how that would have even gotten there but it’s there. $185 shipped

2A ALERT for COLORADO: CO AWB at Gov's desk. THIRTEEN new antigun bills to be watched. Update on post 106 pg 3..

Its pretty nice. We're south of there about hour half. Obviously the humidity makes it hotter and colder. Humid cold is fucking cold. 20 there is like in the zero or below range here but its not very often that its that cold. The hot is miserably sticky hot too but whatever. It has a lot of the features we have here with mountains and rivers but they're just a different style, less open and shorter. I think the elk tags are a little tough to get but yeah the "hunting license" lets you kill quite a few critters with the one fee. Right now there is just a dry camper down there but its going to get basic infrastructure this year so it can be build on in short order.

I'm picking up a 15 model PB AT this weekend and I'm wanting to add the NV bridge, but I'm wanting to make sure I can run the bridge with a 16.5" barrel and suppressor. Also, from my reading I'm seeing I need the high rail in order to line up with the nv rail, is that correct? The one I'm buying has the low rail installed. Obligatory pic of my hopefully new to me AT.

I ran that setup on my AT-LE for a while, you'll be fine.

The AI Arctic Warfare Picture Thread

Does anyone know of a website or thread on here that goes over which is which, model year ranges and differences etc between their 383 different models and acronyms? I want to learn about them but it seems NO ONE talks about the most desirable ones, the first gens.

Buffer trouble.

Hmm that might be a smidge small. I think recommended gas port size for 18” rifle gas is 0.0995 but some others may chime in.

The published specs from SOLGW are a good guide and I give them kudos for having the nuts to do so. Still, keep in mind that they drill their holes with a certain philosophy in mind with certain ammunition. The philosophy, as near as I can tell, is to have a combat reliable weapon with true milspec ammo.

What this means is that their stuff will run full power ammo with either an A5H2 buffer and rifle spring or an H2 or H3 buffer with a springco blue or red spring. I find this to be a bit of overkill.

Still, my point is that a .093 port on an 18" barrel with rifle gas should be fine. Just don't go too heavy on the spring ir buffer. If it is short stroking, it's something else.

Was the 18" running fine at some point and then started having trouble or has it always had this problem? If the former, check the gas key and rings. If the latter, you have a gas leak or stoppage some place other than in the BCG.

New CHAD clone from Preece.

Don’t be a commie. The market will decide what it wants and what the value is. Not the goddamn patent office.
But without the protections of a patents, investments are risks of exactly this happening. Innovators invest capital to develop a new innovation, then after you spend all you have and finally go to market A slime ball like Preece steels the IP and makes a copy and undercuts your market and you are done financially. Sure the markets rule but without the patent protections why invest in anything new.

Yes you will need the high rail. I don't have a bridge but here is a 16.5 with suppressor. I believe it should be fine.

Zeiss SFL 12x50 BInoculars

I have an SF 8x42 and a Swarovski EL 8.5x42, but I always bring the 10x50 with me when I go birdwatching. It has the advantages of both the 42 mm and 50 mm formats. Although it doesn't have as good of optics as the SF, it's really near, in my opinion. Next week, I'll work with a couple of birdwatchers I asked for a reportage. In the field, we'll see what people think.
My go to general purpose binocular for a couple of years now has been the 10x50 Razor UHD. This new 12x50 SFL has almost as wide of FOV. It is harder to handhold steadily, but given how much I glass off of the tripod, it might be worth giving it a shot, especially when out looking for pronghorn.

This year, my go to has been the 10x42 Geovid. Since I will be hunting with other people this year, I might bring both. We'll have enough people.
