I need a new scope for my 18” 5.56 DMR. I am torn between the two options from NF. I usually don’t like to go below 18-20x on my scopes but I see a lot of love for the ATACR, for obvious reasons. Both would be bought with a MIL-XT and cost around the same +\- $400

Any substantial optical quality I would be giving up by going with the NX8?

Realizing I really don't have to take advantage of a dedicated PRS gun so I'm turning this loose after just acquiring everything for it here. Note The barrel is a straight contour 1.25" straight tapper and the stock per manners website can accommodate this but it seems like it's awful close and I couldn't slip a piece of paper down the barrel channel from the muzzle end.

Scope (Athlon Ares ETR UHD 4.5-30x56) and AMD M-Brace scope mount are not included in the listing but can be purchased if buyer of rifle is interested. It was purchased new with the rifle last Summer.
