Firearms New / Never Fired 6.5 CM Rifle - Aero Solus / Proof Research / AG Composite / APA - $1,900 Shipped

How much for the stock?

Does the Solus have the same stock inlet as the Origin?

Edit: and what profile is the barrel channel?

Stock and bottom metal go together for $800

I don't have an Origin on hand to compare the inlets, but they both take standard Rem. 700 short action inlets, so at most you might need to file the ejection port opening a little to match. Super quick and easy to do. Or it may match up just fine.

The barrel channel inlet is Proof Sendero CF.

And so it begins...

I would guess if he is thinking prs he is going steel.

I know the automatic assumption on this board is that everyone intends to shoot PRS, but in reality the vast majority of shooters here and elsewhere don't and likely won't ever shoot PRS, especially in the long term.

That's a very small percentage of shooters and a niche in this hobby.

This is why one needs a firearm even when on the water. You never know when you will have to repel borders.
i don't know the details of the laws but CG forbids weapons by passengers and i think captain and crew on all the party boats i have been on over many years. have been told that when they stop and search that they really go big on the search for weapons.
always concerned me a bit as piracy is real all over including the Carribean. heard it is common in Mexico-no surprise-and even off Kali. don't know the "rules" for privately run vessels.
denying self protection is a common gov move,as we all know.

choosing a prs bullet

I guess I should have clarified a couple of things. I shot F/Tr for 20 years, so I'm no stranger to all the picky reloading tecniques. I've run countless seating depth tests over the years, and there were cetainly times when I loaded into the lands. I know the 105 vld has a rep for liking a bit of jam, I'd really rather not take the chance in this case. I may well be better of trying a hybrid or BT design, but I've got these, so I may as well give them a whirl. Also, I'm a PRS newbie. Having only shot a couple of events, whatever bullet I choose is not going to be the limiting factor to my success! I shot 6.5 creed until now. The idea of the 6br is to have a mild shooting, easily produced, accurate round to develop better tecnique with. I'll report back with results.
