Well, if I was in your shoes, I would certainly not modify it, if it’s not what you desire now? I would sell it…. (I think you would find it will bring really good money being original, except for the paint,), and then build a rifle to meet your current desires (there are FN SPR actions out there for sale), you’d be money ahead, just one perspective, respectfully….. M

I finally got myself a 550 and am going to need to buy more tool heads. Armanov seems good but most of my seating dies are Forster micrometer and I’ve read that the armanov toolheads may be a bit thick for some of those seating dies?

Well it’s not really made for deer hunting. More to cut as much recoil as possible for match shooters. I wouldn’t put one on just to deer hunt.

To try and answer the question, there really wasn’t a distinguishable difference on my Nomad TiXC from without it but I was also wearing ears.

But this is after I deprime. I anneal, clean (with course media), wipe off, full length size, clean with fine media which gets the lube off, then prime.
I just finish about 140 lapua 223 cases on the porch to avoid the dust issue with nothing in the flash holes. Maybe it’s just the small flash holes on the lapua 6x47 brass.
