If it is just for 300 y gongs, pick the scope you like best. I prefer FFP because the subtensions are accurate at all magnifications. This could be important if you are holding for wind…OK, long term long range shooter, here (500m) with several custom rifles. Moved to Alabama and retired, and the only reasonable long range is Talledega (and that's still expensive), but, did I mention I retired? Local club only goes to 200, so I thought it was time to breakout the rimfires. I do have a 10/22 with the hammer forged barrel, in a Magnum Research stock. I have a plethora of various scopes I've accumulated. I'm trying to decide between a Burris Signature 8-32 (sfp), or an Athlon 8-34 (ffp)- any suggestions for my poverty pony?
