Hammer fired USP series with light LEM or match trigger are accurate reliable bomb proof weapons. Pricey yes but won’t let you down.

Striker fired VP9, newer CC9 and classic P7 also have good triggers and are accurate reliable weapons without bad reps.

I don’t own a P20 so grain of salt the following. Gun and girls who who get bad reps usually deserve them. JMHO

My 300wn pushes the same bullet as yous over 300 fps faster which is why the longer barrel is where the 300wm belongs in. I bet given the choice between your 2650 and my 3000 fps you would pick mine to make mile hits with in variable winds. I have made hits at a mile with6mm arc but not my first choice

I wore out a ton of barrels in various calibers over the years. Many of them 300wm so this is not a guess on my part. I have shot at pretty high level of competition myself

Otherwise since he is LRPng he Could make the same hits as yours with far less blast to give his position away. Have a barrel that lasts longer and carry double the ammo. Just using 6.5 Creedmoor

As I said a 20” 300wm is not the best choice for his use. Plus that 20” Savage Hunting rifle likely wont let him get safely to 2650 with 215’s

For sure.
Most forward mounts are designed to reverse the top hemisphere if needed to close the gap between the day optic. That being said if the barrel contour is barely clearing, flipping the bridge will result in the damned thing conflicting with the barrel due to the increased taper diameter upstream from the mount. Maybe that's what was happening with the awesome lightning sticks mentioned above.

The KMW MUNSter is designed to do that and a bunch are ran in a reversed fashion with shorter scopes.

Accuracy of CZ 457 Varmint 22LR non MTR

I had good overall accuracy with my varmint, but the cold bore shift made me crazy, so I replaced the barrel.

If you're thinking about upgrading your 457, I would caution you to consider things before going down that rabbit hole. I did a lot of work to mine and put a good amount of time and money into it. Make no mistake, its a hammer; but in hindsight, time and money would have been better spent if I just ordered a barreled action from Desert Precision or some such place.

Where you are now, you could just sell your rifle right and take the relatively small loss now, rather than put a bunch of time and money into it HOPING to get the performance you want.

As for screw torque ... 20-25 in-lbs seems to be the consensus torque range.

Gentlemen, while technically not nekid, the post left VERY little to imagination. The idea here is pretty simple to understand and getting right up to the line isn’t really the best way forward. I appreciate you all and we 99% all get along and have a great time. I hope everyone gets the gist of this.

I don’t like being breast police. Neither does @powdahound76 or anyone else who catches things first and says something. Most times, guys just forget which thread they’re in, fixes things and life goes on.
