none of this would have happened if not for the coup by nuland and the cia, which is again another reason we should not be contributing.
There was no coup, and this is easily proven:
Yanukovych fled on his own, back to.....Putin, which confirmed he was a Putin puppet all along.
He wasn’t thrown-out, assassinated, arrested, or anything resembling a coup.
It’s important to know the basic definitions of words, so your argument isn’t easily invalidated.
Putsch: A sudden attempt by a group to overthrow a government.
Coup d’etat: The sudden overthrow of a government by a usually small group of persons in or previously in positions of authority.
Revolutionary coup d’etat: A sudden and often violent overthrow of an existing government, typically led by a small group aiming to replace the current leadership and implement significant political or social changes.
Notice that the majority Ukrainians voted 79% in favor of normalizing trade with the Eurozone, even if they didn’t become EU members, they wanted to exchange goods and services for a more valuable currency than worthless Russian ruble trash.
They protested in the streets on their own for 4 months with Euromaiden when Yanukovych signed Putin’s Russia-Eurasia Economic Pact instead, because they knew it went in the opposite direction of their national ambition. Putin knew if Ukraine became wealthy through EU trade, they would move farther away from his control and influence, and EU institutions would have the ability to inspect and audit his money-laundering apparatuses and human-trafficking.
The Ukrainian parliament and their system didn’t change. They merely rejected an imposter puppet who was doing the bidding of a foreign nation and its dictator, Russia.
There was no coup. You can’t make the definition of any type of coup fit what happened in 2014. It just doesn’t work.
