Maggie’s What are you drinking right now!?

@XTREM HTR16

I would like to publicly apologize for my post. I'm not going to take it down and hide it.

I made a mistake.
My buddy that manages the store and I were just earlier in the day discussing profiteers and that store tosses them out if they get sideways.

The manager ordered what he could and is still selling it at msrp but is managing the shelf quantities.

I have been with the same store since 1982, I bought from the owners parents.

Some days I'm an old asshole and the rest I'm just old.

Trip to the "Desert" - OR - Oh That Insane Mirage

As it happens, we just did the XLR class last week where I explain this exact problem and show some video. This is why I don't advise clients to bring scopes over 25-27X or so, we often need to shoot closer to 20x anyway. Understand, you don't actually see the target, you see an IMAGE of the target created by light rays reflected off of it. Those rays are subject to various issues as they travel through the atmosphere, and the actual position of the target itself may be quite displaced from the observed image. Everyone has seen the bent spoon in a glass of water, air does the same thing.

Hunting & Fishing Let’s start a coyote thread.

Do you leave your pants unzipped to allow those choice killer farts to blare out?

Lol ok I’m not sure if your fly is down, but your previous fart jokes still have me chuckling… 😂
My pants are totally unzipped. I took a wiz on the way to get set up and forgot to zip my pants up😂 plus it gives a little extra room for the farts to escape!

I was hoping to punch my second turkey tag. This was the day before.

I don't mind if you gaze at my meat.

I know a lot of restaurants cook sous vide, but I thought it was so they can cook many steaks fast without waiting for the meat come up to room temperature before cooking. What do you think warming the meat in a water bath does? Are you marinating it at the same time and think the heat accelerates this process, or do you think pre warming it actually adds something? Honestly, I want to know, because I've always thought that this was a '70s fad that had little or no utility except for the restaurant business.

While I do believe in seasoning and then leaving the meat out, so it's not cold, when you thrown it on the grill, I've never understood why people do it at home.

28th Amendment to Ban Foreign Spending In State And Local Elections

It's cover. Between the political action groups and ten thousand other NGOs that launder money it's already about untraceable. Then you get into the commingled money like planned parenthood that claims taxpayers money is not paying for abortions.
It's nothing more than a feel good for the people while providing cover for what is actually happening. If they actually get caught breaking the rules nothing will be done about it.

Which Heavy Duty Truck?

I put on about 50k a year for work, and have had at least 9-10 half ton trucks over the years. A couple of GMC's then all F150s. Decided to switch it up this year and picked up an F250. So far I am really impressed, it doesn't handle or drive like a "big truck" at all. Has a smooth ride, plenty of power...and I got 20 mpg doing 80 on the interstate. I really have to be cognizant going to the pump though, 34 years of driving gas vehicles is a hard habit to break when you fuel up!
