Thanks for accommodating all these changes and keeping up with the finer details - true sign of craftsmanship!

So, how many SKUs are there for the test fixture?

For the MDT version, I assume it is BYO MDT Precision DBM (as I placed an order for one at a great price) in anticipation of this being released.

Learned a few things out of all this, so I am richer (in knowledge) though getting poorer in wallet (but worth it)!
Happy to do it.

There are currently three Lot Test Fixtures with six total SKUs:
  • DDG with Bushing Plate
  • M5 with Bushing Plate
  • M5 MDT with Bushing Plate
Although I'll be supplying three of my own DBMS (DDG, M5/M5x Inlets), I don't plan to be supplying others (Hawkins, Badger Ordnance, MDT, etc.), that may change within about 13 minutes of writing this response.

Quality BB gun?

My nephew wants a BB gun for his birthday. He is turning 9 and I would like to get him something nice. He is a responsible young man who already has a .22LR for pest control on the farm.
It seems most BB guns are all plastic and quite cheap. I don't want CO² cartridges, PCP, or anything that is too hard for him to cock. Are there any decent options? Budget isn't unlimited but I would be happy to pay a few $100 for wood and steel over plastic.
Thank you for looking and for any help you may be able to offer,

Church shooting in my AO

As I can find no mention of the suspects name color or race I’m wondering g if we won’t soon find out he is from Middle East and a recent invader? Just speculation.

The good news is church security shot him almost immediately and someone outside the church at least attempted to run his ass over. -don’t be sheep when faced with an attacker.
Not far from Dearborn it looks.

Iran go boom

The feckless UN

They are a messianic terrorist regime because they literally want to create as much chaos as possible to bring forth the Madi (antichrist to you and me).

Their apocalyptic religious beliefs are almost like looking at a negative of The Book of Revelation. It doesn’t matter if it sounds crazy to you. About 20% of the people of Iran believe this shit, and believe the Ayatollah is a direct descendant of Mohamed and rules by divine right.

They don’t hate us because of who we are, but because of what we are.

Some Jews have the same beliefs. They believe if they start a war the Messiah will come.

But GOD told Moses that I will send my servant meaning Jesus but if you dont follow him. That you’ll follow another which is the Anti Christ that coming soon. The 3rd Temple is the MAJOR sign post to watch out for before Jesus comes back!!!

Israel/iran

iran politicians voted to close the strait of hormuz , i think that just signed the death certificate of the iranian navy
i think they have no choice because of domestic problems. they have to make some kinds of large responses. they will keep bombing Israel as they are able. might turn on Hamas,Hezbollah and the Houthis again. might use their cells here, which i fully expect. how any of that goes? will see.
closing Hormuz seems like a must try. likely not real bright. that is all that will have much effect outside ME. Benni will get a hard on because that will bring in a lot more US involvement. Graham will do the same. closing or trying seems like might be regime suicide.

300WM ammo recommendations

Favorite caliber for rifle, good choice. What are you shooting at? Mine are used primarily for hunting and are fed a steady diet of 180-gr TSX and TTSX. That said, when the task is range work, they get 208 Amax and 175 sierra matchking hand loads. Since you have the caliber, now you need to pick the target and the shot it will most often be called upon to deal with, then go from there. Short of that, it is a good all-rounder and no one can give you much more than all-around ammo suggestions.
Last thought: don’t set up a 1000 yard gun when it MIGHT one day take a long shot. Set the gun up for the shot it will take. I see so many nitwits at the 100 yard line bragging about their 1000 yard gun that they can’t even shoot well at 1/10th that range.

XM7 worries from the field.

Because SECDEF Gates was working for the Russians and Chinese. F-22 was meant to replace one-for-one the F-15C fleet, which was an initial order for 750 aircraft.

The Russians and Chinese really hated the F-22 once they got word from their internal moles on how it actually worked once we did tactical exploitation of it out in the Nevada Test & Training Range complex. It didn’t matter what threat air did in the exercises, the stealth and its LPI datalink actually worked. The test pilots (all F-15C Fighter Weapons School patch wearers and some MiG-killers) started having contests to see how quickly they could slay F-15Cs and F-16Cs. They did one set where they killed 12 of them in 2min 22sec, without being seen.

The problem the F-22 presented for China and Russia was that any US Theater Commander could erase any threat air within his AOR at his pleasure, with no real worry of losses on our end. So they had to kill it before we could go into FRP (Full-Rate Production), which is exactly what Gates did. Keep in mind SECDEF Gates began his campaign to kill the F-22 when he was under W. Bush, and Obama kept him on. That was really rare for such a radical Democrat candidate to keep on a Republican’s SECDEF.

We invested $31 Billion into ATF RDT&E before even going into Low Rate Initial Production, and the USAF was denied the opportunity to capitalize on that huge investment. Multiple USAF Chiefs of Staff fell on their swords and sacrificed their command to try to save the F-22 and go into FRP, but Gates had his marching orders and was hellbent on killing it.
As I understand it the MRAP was largely funded through the money that was earmarked for the F-22 before cancellation.

So, while I believe all of Iraq and any approach in Afghanistan more than repetitive punitive raids were strategic-level distractions from what ultimately matters from a U.S. point of view, i.e. the PRC and Russia, I do believe SECDEF Gates was duty bound to the mothers of America to protect their sons and daughters against the current threat, even if it added future risk.
