Nepal blew a gasket

All the hippies who went there to find inner peace and play their little drum things...

Had a really sporty pilgrimage!

There's some hilarious videos of Birkenstock types who walked right into the middle of it.

Good on the youth of Nepal! Maybe it will inspire others.

Anyone who ever went there can tell you even at best of times barely functioning state. Outside mayor cities there is no functioning state structures.

Something tells me this will be much harder to fix than to burn it down.

I can only imagine India will again have it their way ,a they hold Nepal by a chokehold and is not afraid to use pressure to get it their way.

But yes 3rd world elites are as predatory as they get and contrast to the plebs are huge.

Rifle Competition Events What would you change or do differently with current competitions/organizations?

It’s obvious that many here have never shot a true KYL stage.

I do miss those. We always had one in every match prior to PRS. Those and true hostage stages where you lost points if you hit the hostage. But the whiners won and now you can have neither more points for difficulty nor can you lose points. Now it’s just blast away.

I do use the KYL rack each match still, but now I add stress by making them run five targets twice with ten rounds and make it must hit to move on. Usually from a barricade of some sorts. Still no decision making involved though.

Yup a true KYL makes it interesting. I used to look at it and only bring the amount of rounds I thought I wanted to the line with me. Never a full mag. Worst case you pull a zero but it adds a little thinking.

Interesting stage that would be fun to shoot but not a KYL. KYL is not just shooting but strategy in knowing when to stop.

Someone murdered Charlie Kirk

One of the most disgusting bits of gaslighting I have seen from this whole affair has been the media and the social media sphere’s endlessly posting that this is just like the Republican Maga type who attacked Paul Pelosi in his house.

I’d have to dig up the thread here, but it was pretty obvious that the whole narrative was made up and that the so-called mega attacker was a male prostitute/drug addict invited into the home, but that The Pelosi name and family had to be protected at all costs.

But tens of millions of brainwashed little adult zealots have been led to believe that January 6 and Paul Pelosi were both giant insurrection attacks, when they were neither.

What happened to Charlie Kirk yesterday is a direct example of what happens when people are brainwashed and gaslighted into thinking they need to become violent warriors of “democracy.”

It also continues, and it seems like every time some incident happens a half dozen new yellow stripers show up here with no background, pushing a gaslight narrative. Almost as if they were organized and part of a planned response.

Good thing our glow radar is pretty well tuned.

Yeah it’s pretty obvious when the Democrat pops up in here. It’ll be a one month old account doing a whole bunch of liberal talking points lol. Fucking trash.

IDK, I think you can set up a KYL stage that stays true to the spirit of “know your limits” while not actively taking points off of the board. For example…

Let’s say there is a rack of 5 plates, each smaller than the last. We assign points to each plate; 1 for the biggest, 5 for the smallest, etc. Now, we define a maximum round count for the stage. Let’s go with 6 rounds. Shooter is allowed to shoot at any target or targets on the rack, scoring points for every hit. As 5 points is the highest award for a single target, and 6 is the max # of rounds allowed, the max score for the stage is 30.

BUT, the shooter can only score the max if he only shoots at the most difficult target. Every shot taken at a low-point target reduces the max achievable score. And, because how the targets are shot is not defined by the stage (just the points per target and max shots) it is a conscious decision by the shooter to reduce his score by shooting the easier targets.

Interesting stage that would be fun to shoot but not a KYL. KYL is not just shooting but strategy in knowing when to stop.
