It begs the question of if you are in a know flood area, (they have had high water before I understand.) with 700+ campers, why would you not have your own warning system or somebody monitoring the warnings. I know, hind sight is 20/20, but I bet there will be law suits. Meanwhile I have to go call my lawyer!🙄 - unrelated to this…

I never said anything about a mass amnesty plan, neither did the article. BUT - he did also say during the election that he did want that for DACA folks.

But if you think that worker visas are not permanent I have a Big Beautiful Bridge to sell you. No temporary plan from the government is temporary. Add to that the census issue that is upcoming and you then have more states going liberal at the federal level. You have to look forward on these things. He is falling into the democrat trap.

Kitchen knife handle replacement/repair

Got a 20+ year old JA Henkels santuko knife that the handle has finally cracked and broken off. They wont/cant repair. Still waiting to hear about a replacement knife under warranty. If they wont warranty it it wont hurt my feelings as 20+ years, the knife owe's me nothing.

Anybody on here that builds knives think they could make me something to replace this? Would need to drill rivets out, make new handle, and some way to attach it...maybe a machine screw and recessed nut type setup. I dont know how their original rivets are done. Maybe a material like G10 for the handle.

I did some google searching with no real source of somebody who readily does this, even though it seems to be a "common" problem with knives like this(not just Henkels knives).
