In my experience, the 75 and 80 ELD-M want to be close to the lands.

The only complaint that I have heard with N540 is that is burns hotter and can erode a barrel quicker. In a 223, I don't see that being an issue, and have had good succes with it.

Berger is always a more consistent choice over Hornady.

Never owned a belted magnum- but seems like a bad idea to me to fireform the brass in a completely different rifle.
While the belt to shoulder datum dimension would be consistent from the same reamer, the belt to boltface dimension is most certainly going to vary. If you've got five thou clearance to the boltface in the "fireforming" rifle/barrel, and one thou in the new one you aren't going to be able to chamber that ammo. Brass stretches both ways...

I'd fireform to blow out the shoulders in the rifle you'll be shooting with a reduced load.

3000 - 3050 loaded with around 87gr of n570. Just watch your barrel temps because n570 burns hot and long strings of fire will trash your barrel.

It is not. The one in the gif has a solid connection to the seat, the Royal Gorge one has flexible cables. I've done the one at the Royal Gorge.

That is an incredible and very sophisticated vision system that would negate the use of night vision goggles. The images are displayed on the control panel....

I used to fly fixed wing air ambulance equipped with FLIR and we almost never used it. They’re fine for recon but it’s not something you’d want to use to aviate.

Did this to my 338 Gen 2 a couple months back after sending in my Ultra 9 to be cleaned and 30P1 to be recored, CLR soak for 24 hours and pressure washed it. Didn't use the Boretech wand, just a simple pressure washer gun I use to wash my cars with. Did run my borescope down the suppressor and it does get the vast majority of the carbon out, down to the metal.

TBAC cleaned Ultra 9 on the left, Recored 30P1 on the right. It's a huge difference IMO
