I imagine that's a pretty good speed for that bullet and shooting whitetail. A buddy of mine humped up the 110 vmax over 3k and shot a whitetail doe straight on in the chest. Not a shot I'd have taken. It just splashed on impact and she ran to the next county. She was recovered though.I can check the exact load when I get home, but I use a max charge of 748 (for speed of reloading), LC brass, and whatever LR primers I have on hand since GM210’s have been scarce. Getting around 2800ish from my factory 16” barrel at +/- one MOA. Never have had to take a follow up shot on a whitetail with the NBT bullet.

The mk1,2,3,4 series of pistols are good. Always liked my 10/22's for what they are. The mini 14 needs to use ar mags. Strangely enough, the only revolver of theirs I like is the Blackhawk. And I wouldn't mind a number 1 in 220 swift.Need a mini 14 to complete the basic bitch starter pack. Ron Spomer would approve.
Ruger does make very nice revolvers. About the only thing they make worth owning.
Just got back from the range.
Loaded up a mini OCW test with 80 SMK's and H4895 in the 1x brass. It hammered, hard to test anything else after how well this test shot!
All five charge weights shot in the 0.2's or better with the smallest group measuring 0.166". The low node charge had a ES 2.1 and SD 1. SD's went up to low double digits for the higher charge weights but still hammered.
Im going to do a seating depth test with 23.8gr and see how small I can get that already awesome group because of the really low ES/SD then Ill dial in the tuner and take it to distance. Point of impact is the same from 23.6 - 24.2gr so its right in the middle.. Zero pressure signs either, brass and primers look great and bolt feels great. Loving this 0.100fb chamber Mike did for me in this barrel!
I just love H4895 and 80 SMK.s.. And this ACE 224 barrel is hammering.

Not having had any baking experience before trying some things, I found that out the hard way. Baking is a more precise task. No winging it unless you maybe have a bunch of experience behind you.Cooking is largely experimentation. The only people who precisely measure are bakers.
Is the Mark you’re referencing by chance Mark Hall that I believe used to make rifles at GA Precision?I purchased this stock from a gentleman in Arizona, it came with the paper work from McMillian, it has some wear and tear on it, the red pad is pretty ruff, but I still use it. I had my rifle built by Mark, very near the end of his rifle building. That number is in Black marker in the stock,,, that looked a lot different than others I had seen…I might be able to text the gentleman I purchased the stock from and asked a few more questions… but it had definitely been used at some time…
Thanks for your response, Charlie112
God damn, 43 ain’t old as fuck!!Just because you’re old as fuck it doesn’t mean adults are underage
Nice throw either way.LOL...
An FPV drone got knocked down by a chucked spear at a medieval festival (Renaissance faire, looks like). That was a pretty lucky, or very good throw too. The drone was a $20-30 convenience store model meant to be sacrificed for the bet but it is still impressive.

I don't have an Osprey. I've been really happy with the Rock Creek prefits that I've purchased over the years. If I timed the sale, I was in for around $500, which seemed fair for a prefit, especially given all the options that they have programed in over at PVA.
I don't need an Osprey. I'm not shooting PRS, I'm not shooting benchrest, I'm shooting steel and anything around 1 MOA is going to work great for me. This isn't a knock, but at that price I can swing for the moon and get a Brux, Bartlein, etc. What kept me coming back to PVA was a great barrel at a great price, with way more options for customization than anyone else doing prefits offered. Anyway, useful to know that the lower (cheaper) tier of barrel isn't coming back.
they do go into fresh and i bet they have found their way into that area. i know they have been seen about 5mi up the Hillsborough river. and,Juan ain't out running a gator-faster than a horse for short distances-like 50 yd +/-.Is it too far inland for bull sharks?
