10/22 and Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50

You have roughly 60 MOA total travel. 8 mils useable is roughly 27 MOA.

It's like your not getting any actual bias from the rail. Are you sure it's actually a 20 MOA rail or just a flat one? You should by eye be able to see the rear of the rail is thicker than the front. Thick end should be at the rear btw....don't mount it backwards.

If all is mounted right and components are as advertised....it means your 10/22 is the cculprit. Which isn't end of the world. They are shit quality guns and shouldn't be used in PRS22/NRL22 anyway.

Seems to be a Cottage Industry of sorts - almost a motif or a theme.

Are there any good guidelines on what an individual should do?

Seems like a losing proposition to begin with, as they’ll still get to put you through a lot of inconvenience regardless.
Good guidelines would be: Don't drink and drive. Don't use drugs and drive and don't drive like a dick and get pulled over.

Vortex RazorHD Gen III 6-36x56 vs NF ATACR 7-35x56

This seems like a winner. Cant find a reason to dislike it... and its the cheapest of the lot.
I forgot that I did a short write up about the Theos a while back /2023. I realized that after I zeroed I only had 25mils of internal elevation as I had used a mount with zero MOA, put it in a 20 to 40moa mount to get the max out of it.

XBR and 77TMK's are magic. Can't recall the exact charge at the moment, but it shoots in every AR I own. In my Bartlein barrels, it hovers around 1/2 a minute.

77 TMK with 23.8 gr in LC brass, REM 7.5 primer, COL 2.250”
Its my pet load… 2750 in my 20” Bartlein, 2620 in my 16” Proof…

Pro tip… 23.7 gr in Winchester brass!
