Ever wanted superpowers? Because this is how you get superpowers!

Well, gets you dead from cancer anyway.

Walmart Shrimp? I’d rather try gas station deviled eggs… better known as colon blowers!

Indonesian radioactive shrimp. Did not have that on my August bingo card of world idiocy! What became of Gulf shrimp? Or is shrimp caught in Bikini Atoll just a fraction of a cent cheaper?

Anyone go to the Walmart.com site yet and leave a glowing review?

Oh, I know. I went through thousands of rounds with them until they fell apart. Probably still have some stashed away somewhere.
I bought some brass from them. A short time later everything started to come out and I realized I probably bought some brass that was sent to them to be reloaded. 😳

17HMR for P-dog hunting

What do you guys suggest for a 17hmr P-dog gun? Don't want to spend $1k, but open to options below that. Just want the most accurate gun I can get for the $.

Prefer heavier, shorter barrel and a stock without a ton of comb drop if possible. Will be running suppressed some.

I currently have an RPR rimfire 22 which is decently accurate, but I'm just not a big 22LR guy

ARC Coup de Grace Builds

A diamond one pound and under can experience the dead trigger with the pivoting handle. Ask me how I know. I switched to non pivoting and the problem solved. I’m at 13oz on my diamonds. Owning several Archimedes and starting with a pivoting cdg I can honestly say I’m not sure I’ve ever truly needed the function. I don’t load high pressure nor am I running crazy calibers. Op of asking this question if you want to run under a pound I wouldn’t be worried about getting the non pivoting one.

Why do people load so hot?

Great post. A 7mm-08 can push high BC bullet in that 2500-2600 range. Do you think there is point where the recoil is too much to make up for the extra flight time? It always seemed like the 6mm bullets don't have a real good b.c, the ballistics just looked good because of the velocity. I guess the 7mms might start running into action length problems also.
I used this tool to make comparisons when giving the 6.5x47 and 25GT a serious look. https://bisonballistics.com/calculators/recoil

I could perceive a difference in felt recoil after about a .2-.3 pound difference with what the calculator was tabulating. That said, there is more to it than just numbers. I had been also playing with a 223 with heavy 85 and 88 grain bullets. It seemed each time I went up in bore size, even if the numbers were a close match, you could feel a difference. The larger the bore, the more snap I seemed to feel. I'm thinking a person would need one of those graphing units that Gavin at Ultimate Reloader has that shows you the energy over time to see it.

7mm's are interesting and I wouldn't mind trying one at some point.

So, the local .gov doesn't have to get approval from the state to enact law/code/ordinances like that?

Keith
Nope, they are considered the authority given jurisdiction. The national codes are solid, which most trade codes are developed from people in the trades. It's usually the locals that fuck it all up thinking they are god and you have to beg them to do anything and pay there extortion fees. Or they dream up with something that's not in writing when your trying to get your occupancy permit......( just recently went through this bs in Midland Texas for our new office)
