Long time lurker, first time poster here

I've had many Kimber Montanas and Winchester Model 70s but I recently picked up my very first Remington, a new production SPS Tactical 308. I've been ordering everything from a stock, bottom metal (DBM), scope and rings and when I was researching triggers I quickly settled on the Geissele based on my experience with their AR triggers.

When I went to order a Super 700 they were kind of hard to find and they're completely gone from Geissele's site. MidwayUSA has them marked as "Discontinued" but I did manage to find and order one from Kenzies Optics.

Ive emailed and Facebook messaged Geissele asking if the Super 700 is intact discontinued but never received a response. Is it already discontinued after just a couple years and if so, why? I do recall a thread about a couple Mk13 triggers being faulty but that's all I've been able to find. I'm not too concerned myself since mine will stay in the factory weight setting and 2 stage.

I need help selecting a 22 GT (or maybe 22 CM) shouldered prefit.

It will be primarily for calling coyotes. Planning on 18” length and using bullets in the 65-80gr range.

Twist rate: 1:8? Would this be ideal for my chosen bullets? And maybe still shoot decent if I did load some of the 52/53 gr?

Bore diameter: .218 or .219?

Rifling: 4 groove, 5R?

I’m planning to go through either PVA or straight jacket armory mostly because of the ease of online ordering and I’ve read enough good things about both.

Barrel MFG options I’m looking at are PVA osprey, CRB, Bartlein, and just the standard tier 1 match prefits from SJA (not sure what mfg blanks those are using).

I’m sure they’d all shoot great but if I’m about to spend $800-900 on this barrel I want to get it right the first time.

This is probably the best factory trigger I've felt on a 92 series. I wanted a 92FS railed compact but could never find one so when they released the RDO (optics ready) model I picked one up right away. I've maybe fired 100 rounds through it. Comes with the factory box, mags, paperwork, and I added a nice set of LOK G10 grips. I've got this and a 229 so I don't need both of them as I could use the cash for other projects.

This is such a cool little gun, but I already have something that fits close to the same bill and trying to thin down a ways. I would be surprised if I even have 100 rounds on this gun. A little carbon from shooting it suppressed, but in excellent condition overall. It is such a smooth shooting gun with the adjustable gas block right up front. The charging handle switches so you can run it on either side depending what you're comfortable with.

I took this off a new Geissele Super Duty AR-15 a couple of years ago. Surefire SOCM closed tine flash hider. It does not have the Surefire markings which was standard for the ones installed on Geissele rifles from what I’ve read due to nano coating.
