Geissele Cut Rifled AR15 Barrels

I havent seen any testing or reviews of these out there. Just ordered a White Oak 20" Geissele 5R Cut-Rifled 1-7 service rifle barrel threaded 5/8-24... Looking forward to testing this and seeing how it stacks up to my 20" WOA Bartlein, Krieger and Wilson service rifle barrels......

Anyone have one of these in hand and tested? Yes, I've heard 3rd party rumblings that they shoot, but haven't seen any independent testing, comparisons or reviews or talked to anyone directly that has one.

Night Vision ATN Then Vs. Now

I'm just curious and asking from folks experienced with ATN thermal scopes. I don't own any but curious about the quality and workmanship now.

Years ago, I didn't want to buy ATN because of the mixed reviews and many, many complaints about customer service. My experience with Chinese manufactured thermals is with the Burris line.

Even though many would criticize people like me for buying stuff made in China, realize that most of the USA made optics are priced way in the stratosphere. I do buy US made products but when it's something that is unobtanium from US businesses, we have no choice but to buy from overseas companies.

One thing that I was amazed to learn was that, according to ATN's website, their thermal scopes list USA as the "country of origin."

Now that probably means that parts are made overseas and some manufacturing processes are done here in the states. ATN isn't the only company that does that. Besides, almost 99% of the glass, IIRC, is ground in China.

I say all of this because I don't want to get into the "cheap Chinese POS" debate.

What I am curious about is the quality of ATN products now versus several years ago. I remember seeing reviews that were all over the map. There were just not enough good reviews to justify spending four figures on a thermal that had a good chance of breaking down and almost now chance of getting repaired.

I am seeing better reviews on the ATN thermal scopes now; which makes me curious.

Are the ATN scopes better than they were several years ago and has their customer service improved?

SOLD Garmin Solar Tactix 7 Watch Pro Ballistics w/Applied Ballistics

Garmin Tactix 7 Solar

Pro Ballistics version with Applied Ballistics

I’ve worn this shooting a few times

Really nice to use for range and target cards vs the kestrel which seems harder to read

I don’t really wear watches so it’s been a device I only wear at the big range, hence the good condition

Comes with 2 different bands and charging cord

Gordon-ish Setup with OCM5 Question

Does anyone here have experience with the Ops Inc style collar system?

I'm putting together a Gordon-type, and I wanted to run this BOM by someone before I start accumulating parts:

H&R C7 Upper Black
Criterion HYBRID 12.5" Barrel
Non-F marked FSB, .750"
OPS INC™ MK12 MOD ? SPR Collar... long or short? Is it just aesthetic? I think short.
Ops Inc Brake - LONG (AE just dropped a helpful video on this and I prefer shims to time)

I want it to be setup like the 9-hole Reviews Gordon vs clone correct with the 3 piece collar... and even though I'm using the lightweight OCM5, I'm not sensitive to barrel weight and prefer a more rigid, heavier barrel for anything that gets a suppressor on the end.
Screenshot 2025-01-12 at 9.59.10 AM.png

I think the collar requires .750, and the Criterion has that at the gas block... but it steps down slightly- is this a NO GO?

TIA for anyone who can help steer me in the right direction!

SOLD 1x fired Peterson 300 Win Mag Long Brass

I have 50 pieces of Peterson brass in 300 Win Mag Long for sale. These are 1x fired and ready to load.

If you are unfamiliar with the “long” version feel free to read up on it - but the TLDR is that these have a slightly longer length-to-shoulder dimension to negate the typical case stretch and early case-head separation that the 300 Win Mag suffers from. These WILL work in any standard 300 Win Mag chamber. Great brass but I no longer have a 300 Win Mag.

Asking $55 shipped, PayPal f&f or Zelle.

Nf Atacr made in usa vs Japan

Probably been answered. Probably is opinion. But u noticed the 4-20 say on the bottom "designed, assembled in usa with usa and global componets" or something along those lines.

The 7-35 just says "made in japan". If this were 1970 I'd say hands down the 4-20 is better. Now a days I'm guessing most will say same quality? What do the others say? 4-16 and 5-25?
