Firearms Seekins Precision HIT Rifle 6.5 CM with Leupold Mark 5 HD

Trying to sell or trade my Seekins Precision Havak HIT in FDE/6.5CM. I have a Leupold Mark 5HD 5-25x56 with the illuminated Tremor3 reticle, mounted in a Badger Ordnance Condition One mount with CLIF top ring allowing you to run coaxial rangefinders and other accessories. I have some 6.5CM ammo and brass that I can throw in as well. Gun shoots great but I just don't use it as much as I thought I would- less than 200rds through it.

Price: $3500 OBO.

Looking to sell F2F in the DFW area, I am located north of Dallas. May be able to ship FFL to FFL with added cost.

Night Vision PVS-14 GP GEN 3 HELMET SETUP

Turn key set up ready to go. I have a PVS14 in green phosphorous, gen 3 tube, refurbished by Night Vision Network. Does not have spec sheet but is a pretty clean tube. Perfect for an entry into the night vision world. Comes with Norotos rhino mount, 2 j-arms (1 is a Wilcox arm) and adjustable iris eyepiece. It will also come with the surplus bump helmet, with peltor installed on the arc rails. 3M gel ear cups have also been installed on the peltors and the comms wires are not cut.

Looking to get $3000 OBO, prefer F2F local (DFW, TX) but can work something out to ship if needed.

SOLD LaRue Tactical - Harris Bipod BRM-S and 706 QD Swivel Mount Combo - New $175

I have eight that I was going to use on all of my rifles, but I ended up not using them. These were bought a few years ago and have just been sitting in the box. They are all brand new.

I am asking $175 each. Direct from LaRue, they are $275. It seems they changed the mount slightly and now call it the LT706. These have the 706.

From https://www.larue.com/products/harris-bipod-brm-s-and-lt706-qd-swivel-mount-combo/

Hey all,
After being prodded by some folks, we've attacked the problem of bipods. Here's the result. What we did is designed and machined a new built-in LT mount ... we cannibalize a Harris BRM-S ... merge it all together and VOILA' ... glorious bipod goodness. It tilts left and right, it's lighter by several ounces than the original, it's got our LT-QD stuff on it. It's easy to put on and take off. It's spine is a Harris. It's all good.

Hope it's to your liking, they are already in-the-field. ;-)
ML

Easy tension adjustability, in a lower-profile package.
This product combines the excellent swiveling Harris BRM-S 6"-9" bipod with an integral, low-profile LaRue QD lever mount. We have replaced the Harris OEM stud attachment base with a custom chassis... ruling-out the risk of the stud screw and grabber becoming loose. By doing so, we were able to lower the profile by roughly .25". A large knob on the rear provides easy leverage when adjusting swivel tension, especially when in the prone position. The bipod has 6-9" Legs (with leg notches). The notched legs provide a more positive lockup, keeping legs from collapsing unintentionally.

Our adjustable base attaches to any MIL-1913 picatinny rail. Complete with necessary hardware, tools and Instructions.

Deciding between 25GT and 25x47

Did some research, eliminated 25 Creedmoor, 25 PRC and 25 Dasher. Couldn't decide between these last 2 calibers for shooting paper target or knocking steel plate around 1000-1300yards, wonder if I could get some suggestions to help me choose between these two.

Would be shooting in prone and single load most of the time, would try casual PRS match using 28inch barrel probably in 7-7.5twist with berger 135 hybrid.
Spot hit or miss is not that crucial if not shooting PRS, most of the PRS match I go to is around 500-700 so it should be a problem to see it.
I know 25GT is slower and has less case capacity to push it to higher speed and longer range than the 25x47 , but it has less recoil I believe.

For reloading components and tools, I know Alpha makes brass for both, seems only SAC has dies for both calibers, Forster only has dies for 25GT.
Reamer wise, Manson has 25x47 in stock, not sure who else makes good reamer apart from Alpha's legacy reamer.

Anything else I missed?

Optics WTS: Zeiss S5 3.6-18 Mil

I'm posting this as a copy from my post on the Long Range Hunting Forum here: https://www.longrangehunting.com/threads/zeiss-s5-3-6-18-mil.368742/

Picked this up from another forum member and put it on my 308 and put a couple hundred rounds down range. Great scope that lives up to the DLO recommendation, but have some other home expenses to cover so this has to go.

Comes with the both Tenebrax caps, original paperwork, original box, original bikini cover, Zeiss extension and extension cap.

Please see past feedback for reference and feel free to reach out with any questions.

Getting a 1k class gun built

Technically not ELR, but i think its more ELR than the general bolt forum.

I've been shooting F-class (1K) for a couple years. Doing my first build. I need "help" as in when I try and contact a smith for advice, I kinda get blown off. I'm not super into "I have to have action X", for instance Bugholes has a special on Terminus + barrel that seems like a slam dunk. But then there is getting the tuner, the stock (espeically the stock) and I get bogged down in choices. Whats the best way to get one of these guys to walk me through a buld. I know I want a 7PRCW (6.5 PRC necked up for 7mm bergers), but after that is a lot of trouble as I know I like a cheek riser, but apparently that doesn't go with the RAT system on stocks. I have no clue what trigger to hang, its a damn trigger. I'm still struggling with my front rest and rear bags, so stock choices are like "Pick One" (plus trying to make friends at the range: Use Bob he's great--except I can't get Bob to tell me what to build)

I really need advice on how to talk to a gunsmith to get them to help me finalize a build, already spent "months" researching and then when I said "lets get started" they dropped the stock thing on me (I haven't a clue what stock to get) and it derailed everything. I can get a barreled action, but once again, how do I get the tuner. (i got 10 left thumbs so trying to pillar bed an f-class gun as a first attempt seems stupid). I am seriously so frustrated that I might buy an origin+barrel slap it in a chassis and just take the shit that comes with that.
