I have a kelbly atlas tac, that has an urban rifleman barrel on it. Variable shoulder/Barrel nut . I know. How could someone do something like that to a kelbly?

Anyway, looking for a budget chassis.
I was thinking about getting an ultradyne 7 slot chassis and an MDT composite carbine stock. For a grand total of about $518 before tax.

Anyone have experience with these? The ultimate advertiser seems to like them. Just looking for a budget chassis. I don't compete. I'll be shooting off a bench and a ground blind for hunting.


Questions:
Thoughts on that or a different budget chassis?

Or how would this be vs a Aero precision chassis?

i recently started reloading and was wondering what primers to use with my .308 srp alpha brass. also powder recommendations.
i will be shooting berger 168 hybrid or the 175 lrbt bullets.

i have read that the magnum srp will affect pressure data, but the regular srp sometimes dont like the cold.
^ is it safe to use magnum srp or start with regular srp?

i dont know if i should be using magnum srp or standard with this brass. the powders i was going to chose from where - varget, h4895, imr 4064, imr 4895, or n140 based on quickload % fill, speeds and pressure. i still have not decided on what powder or brand of primer i will use, so recommendations would be great.

I'm sure there have been a lot of you with interaction with MDT, how has the customer service been? Fairly sure of their product but the customer service is very lacking in my recent experience. I ordered during their Black Friday sale so I get possible shipping delays (although you'd think that would be planned for). Also I now see they are moving to Idaho. Good job...getting out of WA, but probably not a good time to delay all your Black Friday orders that are already delayed...but i digress. Just curious what everyone else's experience has been when ordering from MDT, quality customer service or lacking?

I'm wanting this chassis for a Tikka action but have read that the rear stock is in the way of properly running a cleaning rod through straight. I also swap scopes too much and am also concerned about bore sighting down the barrel with the stock in the way.

My question is, can the rear of the stock be removed easily for cleaning or would I need to remove the action from the chassis?

I've been waiting for these to come in stock, but was also curious if anyone else had any insight on them.
