Accessories Polish Underfolder Kit

Told myself that if this wasn’t pulled out and the build started by the end of October it was time to pass it on. Numbers matching grade A Circle 11 kit (1980 stamp) with original barrel I bought back somewhere around 2005. Some light surface rust on the side of the trunion from sitting in storage for almost 20 years other than that and the unfinished cleaning rod (received it that way in the kit) it’s a great parts kit.

I scoured the AK forums trying to find a fair value, original barreled kits seemed to be priced $900 (lower grade) to $1200+.

I’ll price it right in the middle $1100 shipped and insured in the US.

Only trade I’m looking for is a newer Whiskey chassis (folder) for a Rem 700 SA

Was the Ruger Precision the game changer it was supposed to be?

Curious your thoughts on the RPR 9 years later. Hard to believe it’s going to be a decade old in 2025.

For me this rifle was the game changer. It was a great entry level rifle rich in features and gained a lot of aftermarket support when it came on the scene. It also got me into 6.5CM and long range shooting

I even remember Frank doing a little series on upgrades you could do to really get the most out of it.

I still have my OG RPR and I think one day it might be a neat thing to pass on to a new shooter. I don’t think I’ll be doing any upgrades to mine. It’s still a great shooting rifle but I think I’ve progressed beyond its budget price tag.

For me the RPR was a gateway rifle

Frank even ran it against the AI with some pretty impressive results.

Interesting tidbit the RPR videos are the top 2 most viewed videos Frank has on YT

Vudoo polymer mags with Hoz & shield extensions. $65 each shipped or $120 for both. Both mags have the advanced follower and new spring. Mags are used very little and mag extensions are new. I purchased a different rifle to run next year so I don't need the mags anymore.
