Got my test results back. Positive just reinforces the why I have felt so crappy.
Called my deer hunting buddy to give him the news and he said that the LGS I went to on Black Friday is open part time because people that work there have COVID.
I’m sure it is a coincidence.
On the plus side I scored a RRA lower and Romeo 5 for $275. And won and Anderson lower in the Black Friday Raffle.
    Mixed blessings for sure.
Loading up on zinc, C, and D, that “they” recommend.

Add some quercitin too and try to get out in the sun. Vitamin D supplements are ok but getting the real thing is much better. Hope you get better soon
I had not heard of quercitan. Onion soup coming up!
actually my appetite has fallen off this week and when I do eat it feels horrible in my stomach and gut. I haven’t lost my sense of smell/taste, tho.

Over the last few years I’ve just been fasting when I get sick. Maybe a boiled egg or a small piece of cheese but I eat very little. I drink plenty of water with a sprinkle of Himalayan salt or some sort of low sugar drink though

Our whole house got the covaids this summer. My kids laid on the couch and had a bit of a fever for about 8 hours then were fine. My wife was sick for several days and lost both taste and smell for a few weeks. I was only sick for a day and a half. My taste was muted for a few days but I couldn’t smell for a week. This wasn’t too bad though, I couldn’t smell my kids’ diapers. I confirmed this by burying my face in a bag of ghost pepper tortilla chips and taking a giant huff and didn’t register anything, this should have knocked me on my ass

You'll feel like crap for about 4-5 weeks, cough up shit, lots of it, lose taste and smell (don't have all of mine back yet), be weak as hell, when you take a trip around the house you'll want to take a nap. I didn't have any breathing problems, but my lungs were filled with crap. So, I probably wasn't taking in the amount of O2 I should have been. I'm 62+, not in bad shape, but not prime either, I survived just fine. You will too. Mac(y)

the rt pcr test, a test designed to amplify, much like an audio amplifier, something small into something big so one can study it, it was never designed to find any one particular illness.
sorry you feel like shit but much like the flu, the coco virus is never around during the summer months. and like clark kent and superman, the flu is never seen at the same time as the coco virus.
    get well soon!

Pulse ox's mandatory ...they were really cheap on groupon, but watch shipping costs - better to buy in multiples.

The good news is you likely have a greater than 99.7% chance of being just fine. If you're younger than geriatric and reasonably healthy, it's more like 99.97%

I had it back in July my symptoms were extremely fatigued, dry cough, sinus pressure, zero taste and smell for a few weeks, fever for a couple days. Never had any breathing problems. Overall just felt shitty for a couple weeks I had what some call the “COVID FOG” just mentally kind of out of it for a bit almost like a hangover. Anyway you’ll live get well soon!

Only the people that survived are giving advice here. I'd like to hear from the ones that didn't. Oh wait ... they're dead ... never mind.
If they're dead, they likely listened to the medical establishment that told them to go back home until your symptoms worsen. Then come back and see us. We'll admit you, put you on a ventilator and give you Remdesivir. Whatever you do, don't try any dangerous early treatment like HCQ, Ivermectin and vitamins. Trust us.

You obviously don’t understand dark humor and how it’s used to show support for someone. And you reject the advice of those that have experience with it. That’s unfortunate.

Also, now that he has it, a vax, booster, or anal probe from aliens isn’t going to help, so there is no need to bring up your pro-pharma bs now.

Had that crap a couple week ago.

Felt crummy for a couple days, like a mild flu for a couple more.
Low energy and fatigue for like a week after fevers were gone (in 36 hrs)

    Best to you.

Some good advice in here. Nothing wrong with strong supplements. Im a fan of as much "natural boost" as you can find vs all the crap big Pharma and the medical establishment always pushes. And yes, working in that world is how I make my living.

I will say, if you are gonna do Vit C, make sure your body is FULL of it, as it supports the immune system the best at those levels. YOu cannot OD on it, you just get the shits when your body is full.
I personally take 1000mg an hour till my first big loose drop. Then TID till symptoms are on the upswing.

If they're dead ... it's certainly possible they listened to someone that told them not to get vaccinated. At least in our area ... the vast majority of hospitalizations and deaths are unvaccinated (around 93%).

Not a good read on me ... I'm pro-choice as it relates to vaccinations. My choice was to get vaccinated, but I totally respect anyone's decision not to. I don't have to understand or agree with the decision, in order to respect it.

This virus not only attacked my lungs it attacked my liver. The latter being the biggest concern for the Doctors. What is strange while I was laying in the hospital I was kicking myself for not getting the shot ,but now I don't want the shot.

I didn’t say you were not pro choice. I said you were pro vax. Your previous posts show that plainly, to the point of rejection of any view that doesn’t align with yours.

At this stage in the Covid saga if a man opts for natural immunity or even catches it post vaccination there is really no need to ramble on about your view of the world and shit on the opinions of others. That was my point.

I would like to add that I got it after attending a “super spreader event” a friend of mine’s birthday party for his kid on a Saturday. The following week about 12 people came down with it and out of 12 people that came down with it 5 of them were vaccinated and two of the vaccinated had the worst symptoms out of the people who got it.

Anybody know anyone that’s had COVID a second time? I don’t. I know several people that have had it after the v4x. I’d think they’d be talking more about the re-infected to discredit natty immunity over the shot.

I believe 98% of the people who say they got it twice are the result of false positive tests for at least one of the times. I’ve never heard of someone getting sick twice from Covid.

You'll be fine unless your overweight, diabetic, and got the jab, jk on the jab. Get rest and fluids, you'll be fine

Do the vitamin stuff for sure.
I had loss of taste/smell for three days then all systems came back on line and after about a week I am back to feeling fine.
One 250# dose. Three days in a row at first sign of symptoms.

I have a buddy who is legit 450 lbs. loves weed, crack , and coccaine. he had the rona a few months back and continued to smoke crack through it. he lives in a hovel with holes in his roof, holes in his walls, the place is infested with fleas plus every other type of creature, only a window unit for ac and a kerosene heater for warmth. My
point to this is, he if survived in his shape and his condition I am convinced that it just hits certain people certain ways, I suggested he contact the medical journal as crack is another possible therapeutic to help get one through. he declined.

I have it now…literally just sinus congestion for me. No fever, body aches..none of that shit.

I take vitamin c, zinc, and selenium before bed year around..but have added bourbon recently for health reasons.

Spot On ! I was elbow to elbow with about 20 people minutes before they got sick with the first strain over a period of about 8 months at the local watering hole and never had a symptom, but the Delta variant about killed me.

Quercetin as well as EGCG, the anti oxidant from green tea, have been found and shown to inhibit 3cl-protease in Covid which is a vitally important catabolic enzyme needed for its replication. I can link a study if wanted.

Getting vitamin D as TheD suggested is spot on. Get out in the sun as much as you can, it will noticeably help. If you're in a cold state best to do what I did and open the blinds in any window that's facing the sun and let it shine on your face for a while. Half hour to forty five minutes and I was feeling better and my wicked cough I had subsided for a few hours.

I'm still wondering if I really had Rona instead of bronchitis, it lasted almost a month. My O2 stayed 97-99 the whole time.

Doesn't really matter either way to be honest I guess

I can't seem to find the original article when first published back in March, which I remember was longer but these are good enough
