Okay so really weird question. Who makes a really good quality, durable, garden hose nozzle? I can’t get anything in a big box store to last more than a season.

Go get a brass one from Tractor Supply. Just be ready to cut it off and replace the hose end when it needs a new one.

Now, can you provide a link to a high pressure water pump that will last longer than a season?

This. Ive tried them all and the brass models seem to be the best. Pick up a bag of 3/4" hose O rings. these will fall out or break before the brass nosle.

Bought a couple of these a 20 years ago and they're still going strong.

Lets start with the hose, get to the nozzle later.

STOP BUYING ALUMINUM ENDED HOSES. They seize to brass(dissimilar metals sorta thing i guess) and fucking suck.

Now, if you are gonna go cheap on the nozzle, get plastic and expect to replace every 3-6 months like a good chicom supporter, don’t forget to use amazon.

If you want to buy something that will last, make sure your wife doesn’t run over it or kids beat it with a hammer, but buy solid brass, from a first world country. I like plumbers grease on the gasket and on the threads. Dont stuff it into a bucket of concrete that you are mixing and it should last a lifetime.

Bought the middle one years ago, great!

The comments on their web page aren't good.
I bought, from Sears, a firehouse style nozzle that lasted a very long time and when it needed replacing I went to Sears and exchanged it for free. I bought the first one in 99 and it's only been a few years since Sears folded and and I couldn't get one any longer. In the 20 years I believe it was only replaced twice, and solely because of the aluminum threads.

With it, you could turn water on and off both from the left and the right. The only thing that went wrong w it to be replaced was where the hose screwed into it. The threaded housing was aluminum. The threads wore out. I would love to replace it with the same one, but they are no longer available.
I will be watching this thread. Water is our life here on the nursery

meh I just buy the cheap ones from Home Depot $5 each. buy 5 at a time and keep them in the garage for when they break. I usually break one a year. but our summer is short

I've been using one of these for 12 years. I bought a backup 5 years ago. Haven't needed it yet.

All brass one. Haven't used this one, but some of you seen to lack google fu.

Hoses with brass ends that never fail. I've been using the same one for 12 years, and I have bought 2 more since. First one has lived outside in MT and ND winters without a crack yet. Other 2 are backups that will likely be mostly dry rotted by the time I finally need one, but they were end of season closeout for $20.

Previous owner left two hoses and nozzles behind. The nozzles (unknown brand) seem to be well made. Hoses were the cheapest pieces of Walmart crap available. SMH.
