The biker gangs of the 80's and 90's used the same tactics whenever one of their members were put on trial. They would show up to the courthouse and park their motorcycles en masse, and stare down everybody who was part of the justice system, making hand gestures and threats. They would also send letters with clearly defined "what we are gonna do to you and your family" statements to the homes of prosecutors, judges and lawyers from the other side. The Pagans were infamous for this. During the trial for one of their members after that Long Island brawl with the Hells Angels, over 100 members showed up and many folks working for the law got death threats. It is thuggery. Plain and simple.

It would be a dangerous mistake to assume that just because a person is a military veteran or an LEO, they might be "conservative". There are plenty of hardcore lefties in the military and various police forces. And I mean A LOT...

I think it would be great for local LE and the militias to coordinate protective services with high profile locations like an ICE office that had received threats. I for one am guilty of underestimating the other side. Largely due to the fact that I am only exposed to my family members that have seen combat and they certainly fall into the conservative side of things. Certainly need to rethink things.
My location in a very rural part of a very conservative state also adds to my disdain of the liberal masses. Most in my area are the type that sit in there homes, playing video games and living off my tax dollars which the govt so willingly provides. With that said there does seem to be a trend of that mentality being expanded to others that are more active.
