Now look, the FBI and CIA are now spinning "white domestic terrorists" in our borders and they are a "national security threat." I imagine it won't be long that donating to a Trump 2024 campaign will be reason enough to freeze and seize your bank accounts. See Canadian Trucker situation as exhibit one. Sure, laugh now, but it does not seem outside the realm of near future possibility anymore, does it?
I read a criminal defense attorney's blog and he has always maintained that is the strategy; to start with a "cause" many people will embrace, pass the laws, then a decade or two later, people are up in arms because SWAT can raid anyone's house, cops can steal anyone's cash without cause, and without even the need of backing criminal charges, and it's "legal."
People should have been shooting and hanging from the outset of those laws from day one, decades ago. Now, here we are, with demonstration that they will grow and exceed, as they always do.
No one is laughing my friend. It doesn't take a crystal ball to see the pattern, and it doesn't take much of an imagination to know that it can and probably will happen here. The Canadian state has seen how effective asset confiscation is, and the rest of the worlds despots are taking notes. Senate was in the midst of speaking to the act, what it means to enact it, and what conditions must be met in order to do so, and the overall tone was that they were going to shit stomp it, so he pussied the fuck out to make it look as if it were his decision.
