Do they measure height in Toes? I can understand measuring height in Hands. It's easier to measure the height of a horse in Hands than Feet, but I'm not too sure how the Toe method works.

I wonder how many people got fired for that crash. I remember watching a very experienced driller get canned, the company man who didn't know shit kept telling he was setting the bit down too hard and he was going to knock the bottom out of the hole. He was being blamed because we lost circulation on a couple holes in a row. Then after they fired him we lost circulation at the same depth in that area on the next three or 4 holes. Two of them we had to squeeze. In the private sector you loose your job when you loose lots of money. I bet not so much at NASA.

I guess a toe kinda averages at an inch or so? If feet are made of inches, it stands to reason feet are made of toes?
