I didn't fall in but on an elk hunting trip north of the house, it was late morning and nature called, loudly. Forest Service had a toilet at a trailhead close by. Got situated and laid my jacket next to me as I took care of business. Finished and stood up. Something caught the jacket and about 6 feet down the hole it went. So out I go and cut a stick to fish it out. I drag and hook and pull but can't seem to get a hold on it. The sticks bending, the jacket's wallowing in the goo and I'm just getting pissed. But I kept at it and finally got it rescued. Wasn't that good of a jacket but it was noon and I had a sandwich in the pocket.
