Christmas Eve 1753, George Washington and his Virginia militiamen on a mission to the French fort Fort Le Boeuf in present-day western Pennsylvania camped the night at the Lenni Lenape village of Murdering Town. In his journal he describes that the next day they crossed the river and visited with a Native American "Queen" and gave her presents. Giving to notable Native Americans was an established diplomatic practice at the time, but who this Queen was and what exactly they gave her we do not know. Mere months before the outbreak of the French and Indian War, the British and the colonial Americans were desperate to gain Native allies - the gifting of a pipe tomahawk, a symbol of both war and peace, was a common feature in these cross-cultural visits. The Murdering Town Queen was Forged by "Iron John" Logan and was signed/dated by him.So what's the backstory on the hawk, where'd it get its name ? It just sounds cold.
Yeah, sorry. Misunderstanding, I jumped in with both feet not even reading the thread.I think it's hilarious.
Stabby stabby indeed!Another "Iron John" piece called The Galveston Bowie.
If Mr. Nguyen had been in possession of a proper knife, the ending would have been even happier!

2nd Amendment Supporters Outraged After Benchmade Helps Police Destroy Guns
A recent spat involving Benchmade Knife Company, the Oregon City Police Department, and incensed Second Amendment advocates put the American-made knife manufacturer in the political crosshairs.gearjunkie.com
That is gorgeous.
Pretty sure hes alive. That neck shot looked vicious, but the clerk said the ambo showed up in like 3 minutes and took him away...?Any updates on this? Did the pin cushion live ? Is he paralyzed ?
That looks like a quality piece of equipment…nice.Hands down one of my favorite knives I have ever owned, it’s definitely the Buisness. It’s a Toor and knife and sheath fit right in the pocket.
If you don’t believe this, go to any amateur grappling/mma competition.Except for there is a bit of a difference in the mind set of women.
Part of that might also be the demographics of where you live vs around here.
A lot of women I met wouldn't have a problem using a knife and when they are buying them their first comment is like "this looks like it would really hurt someone".
Some women that wouldn't use a gun will be happy to use a knife.
Lots of folks are a bit more scared of the knives as they know there is a good chance they will be used as opposed to a gun.
Around here, you see some Mexican heritage female start reaching for a knife, you get the hell out of there or pull your gun because you know she won't have any hesitation in carving you up nicely.
