I hate california
This is a shot in the dark,

but my grandfather was a fairly famous custom knife builder in northern california from appx 1965 to the mid 80's, and my family is trying to find some more of the knives he made. if anyone has seen one or owns one, my family would be willing to buy them for practically any price....

thanks

In the mid-80s, I met a Fred L. Smith in Fair Oaks, CA, who was a neighbor of my parents, and we bought several of his custom knives as collectible art. I've never been in the market to sell, but I've never encountered his relatives, either. This is an older post of yours, but if you're still searching, please reply.

I have not checked this account in quite some time! Please contact me at your earliest convenience. My grandmother lives in Folsom now and my wife and I live in Placerville.

Thank you for digging my old post up. 7 years old I think!

Best!
