  • We’ve got a new video up that will hopefully demonstrate how different our bags are when compared to a typical rear bag. We hope to have some instruction/tips videos and bag comparison videos up soon.

We’ve come a long way since the original video we filmed in a garage. What hasn’t changed is how well our fill works and how committed we are to making sure you’re satisfied with your bag. We appreciate the support and really appreciate the guys who go out of their way to recommend our bags.
We sometimes send swag/freebies to people who post reviews or recommendations on here/FB/IG so keep it up and it may earn you some gear. Just tag us to make sure we see it.

Here’s one with some more detailed info (and some rambling lol). We should be getting some set up/NPA/fundamental vids out soon.

Website linked below- If you’re not sure which bag to pick, read the descriptions and make a call. Don’t sweat it as we’re going to work with you to get you what you need should the one you choose not be for you. I’m happy to answer questions on differences in this thread. A lot of times the guys here who have used our bags can answer questions better than I can. Comparison videos hopefully coming soon. Use code “DontFallForTheKnockoff” for 10% off!

Quick rundown of our rear bags-

All of the 2d(traditional/tactical style)bags come with adjustable straps on both sides. This is incredibly helpful in getting the right tension on your hand for easy manipulation. When we added this feature we expected it to be more of a luxury, but I’m now a believer and convinced every bag should have this. Some pictures may not reflect the adjustable straps, but all new bags will have them.

    The ELRx-
    Compresses to around 4”.
It’s filled fairly tight to let the bag do most of the work but there’s still room to squeeze up. Adjustable straps have been added since this pic was taken.

    The ELR Pro-
When we sent Frank the ELR to try he immediately wanted a bag with less fill inside. We added a little more size and a little less fill and it became the ELR Pro. This bag compresses about the same as the Rx but has more empty space in the bag to allow your hand to pinch the stock through the bag. If this is how you prefer to work the bag this is a good option. Frank/others like this bag but we still believe that a bag filled more tightly is best for the vast majority of shooters.

    ELR Mini-
This is the bag I typically use. We redesigned it to be a bit different from the standard ELR. The sides are tapered up and the top is concave which helps keep it compact and makes it a bit more “handy”. This bag not filled as tight as the Rx but is not a loose bag at all. If you like a lower bag this is a good option. It compresses around 3-3.25”.

The F1- This is our newest bag and takes cues from both the Rx and the Pro. It compresses a little lower than the Rx and while still a firm bag, it has a little more room for adjustment.

    The 3D ELR
This bag was made for @padom and he loved it so much we decided to offer it. He shoots decent groups every now and then so trust that this bag will do what you need it to do lol. This is a 3 dimensional(hence the name) larger bag designed more for the bench shooter in mind. A lot of guys use them in prone, but I wouldn’t call it a “tactical“ rear bag. It basically swallows the stock and will do all the work for you.

Love my Precision Underground Bag. The fill gives such good support but also allows you to manipulate it. I'm a pincher and I actually have 2 PU bags for different purposes. I have a mini and the bigger one. The best part is that if it isn't quite where you want it to be, send it back and they will adjust the fill for you for free. You can't beat it, right there with the suppressor covers, which I'm about to order 2 more for my new cans.

I had a few cheaper bags, until I learned the lesson; Precision Underground only. Shrank my groups with the 3D ELR and never looked back. Thanks for such a great product, guys. I'll never buy any other bag.

We so much liked the adjustable front strap you requested that we started putting it on all of our 2d bags 👊🏼. When you asked for it I was thinking it was kind of pointless but then when I tried it I went “the crazy son of a bitch is onto something here” lol.

The rundown is very helpful on deciding which one to get without actually trying each one.

Correct me if I get it wrong, it sounds like ELRx ELR Pro, ELR mini and F1 are mainly differentiated by the amount of filling inside the bag and size/height of the bag, but with improvments?
If yes, could I say F1 is more like a all-in-one replacement for ELRx and ELR Pro to average user if I don't want to buy one bag each? Or when people would pick the ELRx or ELR Pro or F1 over the other bags?

Correct, the main difference is the size/fill level on the bags. I usually tell guys to measure to the bottom of the stock with a bag compressed in their typical shooting position. This will give you an idea of how tall of a bag you need. Most of the time it will fall between 3.5 and 4.5 inches. Some ppl like a taller bag but unless you’re shooting an angle or have a thick upper body/chest, I’d guess you are propped up a little higher than what is optimal.

I think for our next video we’ll probably go over how to find your optimal bipod/bag height. There’s an easy way you can find what’s best for you….best for you by my definition of a solid position anyway. I see a lot of guys that are set up too high or too low. But even if you’re too high or low, putting one of our bags under your stock will make your life a lot easier.

I have the 3D and an ELR Pro and I'm quite happy with them...and yes, I have a number of other bags incl a recent entry to the market (and I like it too).

    All good, brother. All good.

Mugs are gone but we'll have more soon-

Cleaning up the shop today in an attempt to gain some space and found a box of coffee mugs I forgot about lol. We need the space so come grab a bag and ask for a mug in the order notes you’ll get one. We’ll do it until we run out or until I get sick of spending double for shipping to fit the mug in the package!

Nice, gonna include more bags in the order, is everything in stock now or some might take 1-2 weeks for the batch to finish?

We make pretty much everything to order. We usually do a few extra in each batch so sometimes we’ll have random stuff on the shelf. That being said we’re starting a batch tomorrow so if all goes will it it should be ready by the end of the week so hit it up!

If I shipped my bag back to you, could you modify it with slightly more fill?

Can you make the 3D ELR bag fill adjustable by the customer?
I know I would test several fill levels before settling on what I like.

How does it compare to sand? Most people, myself included, I know just use a schmedium gamer changer now.

Likewise, have you tried stuffing a game changer with your fill?

It kind of feels like sand but it’s not heavy like sand and doesn’t get as hard as sand. I guess you could say that for a rear bag application, it’s like sand but better.

As for using it in a GC our light(ish) filler is better for that application. It’s about 1/2 the weight of a standard fill but basically reacts like sand. The key to a good barricade bag fill is that it can conform to an obstacle but still get really firm when compacted, that’s why sand works well. The light(ish) fill gets hard as a rock when compacted and weighs prob 1/3 what sand weighs.

A lot of match shooters use a GC as a rear bag. There’s nothing at all wrong with that but that’s a small sample of shooters. Most guys that don’t shoot matches aren’t hauling a GC around just as a rear bag. And IMO if you really want to build true fundamentals in prone and mod prone a GC isn’t the bag to do it with. A tactical style rear bag is going to give you more control while also being faster and much more practical.

Received my ELR Pro bag, excellent quality and what ever fill they use locks up solid just as advertised. The bag is a little tall for my preference. I reached out to precision underground on here and they responded very quickly and helped me figure out which of their other bags would complement the ELR pro as a second shorter bag.

I’m very happy with their product and customer service and will be ordering the ELR mini and a suppressor cover too.

Sorry man I’ve been tied up and haven’t checked the forum. I’m not sure what a mini plate pro is but I’d bet ours will work better! We can’t do promos on the micro though. The margins on them are just too thin, especially since we upgraded the clamp. It takes a couple of hours to make one and our material costs on them are insane since the Covid .

No worries…figured it wouldn’t hurt to inquire about any promo.
FYI…the Mini Plate Pro is from Gray Ops.

The way the bag and fill work with the plate is what makes ours work so well. It’s really light but conforms and compacts like sand. Companies haven’t caught on that a fill that compacts to be really firm is what makes a setup like this work well and I’ve never seen anyone using a fill that’s anywhere close to the one we use in that department. Be aware, it’s not a free recoil type set up. But if you like to drive the rifle and want to stop carrying a 10lb bag around this is the ticket.

I just reactivated “DontFallForTheKnockoff” for 10% off rear bags if anyone is waiting on a coupon 🤙🏼
