that's what's called a shelter dog. Somebody else's problem now.
Truth be told, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that dog doesn't get exercised enough. I tell people "your dog is gonna get his exercise one way or another. Best you decide how the exercise gets done.". Also, a crate is a dog's best friend and should be their safe place. Mine ate something last night that didn't agree with her. She went and laid in her crate all night because that's where she feels safe and comfortable.

A sane life mate cannot be bought with all the gold in the world, while a woman who spends all the gold in the world and uses sex as the main driver to get to your bank account really isn’t worth a plug nickel.
