I had the first generation Jeep Wrangler YJ 1987, the morons that designed it ran fuel line (stainless hard line) directly over the top of the oil fill. Granted, that was an AMC POS, but still...that was short bus retard.
Second generation Porsche 944's had the fuel lines moved to run alongside the exhaust manifold.
Lot's of fires started that way.

You look at that and think whoever set up that set didn't know shit., I set up literally hundreds of gear sets. When I had one do just that I called the manufacturer ( remain unnamed) and they said they had some gearsets fail Rockwell and they would replace them.

It's CDO!

Thank you,
MrSmith
It's not CDO or a Chronic Disorder Obsession, because I do not have an obsession with chronic disorders. What is do have is an obsession with pointing them out to people that I know that have OCD. I think the technical term for what I have is CAS, Constant Asshole Syndrome.

Hey, not all of us...well, I'm not a parchment on the wall engineer, but my job title is "Senior Systems Engineer". :ROFLMAO:

Ok, you’re the exception. I have a hard pass for any limey Brit auto engineer though. I haven’t worked on a ton of British cars but from what I’ve seen, those engineer blokes are all related in the worst possible way

Other folks have posted that they know auto engineers, and supposedly they do the stupid designs for efficiency or some other horseshit. I firmly believe they do it to discourage people from working on their own vehicles. Make it a PITA so they'll take it to the stealership for work. The mechanics there deal with the PITA, but they are on the clock and the book says it takes X amount of hours to do a job, that would have taken 15 minutes under a shade tree, a jack and a few hand tools. Tell me wrong.

Rocky Mountain Oysters are good. When we cut calves in the fall we'd have a nut feed after. We're not eating a giant old bull nuts though...I imagine they'd be a little "gamey".
We had a local feedlot that fed weigh up cows and bologna bulls.
They always cut the bulls before they fed them out.
We would get two or three 5 gallon buckets of nuts and a keg of beer.
Slice up the nuts, bread em and put in turkey fryer.
They were really good, not gamey at all.
