When I was young, the passengers would clap for the pilot after a landing like that.
I did that in the A-10 flight simulator, I asked my boss (A-10 driver) if he had the guy running the simulator dial in a big crosswind...he didn't say anything. After I landed and taxied, he told me I had my left foot on the rudder pedal the whole way in...rascal.
