As a kid I remember trains on that track, 70s time frame. Cargo only by than. No passenger cars.

Those B&M cars ran through Medford Ma though. We called the “Budliners”.

I couldn’t have been 4-5 years old going over to the tracks and putting coins down to get squashed.

Our parents warned us we would get sucked under the train if we got to close so it was wicked safe.

I put a .22LR on the tracks once. The bullet made it about 3/4 the way out of the case before getting flattened.

That lower thumbnail is also a good example of the quickest way to tell male from female giraffes. Males wear off the hair on their ossicones (those two things on the top of their skulls) with head-butting/fighting.
