Hopefully everyone had a solid weekend. Some pictures from shooting at 2073 yards in the desert yesterday.
First time stretching the AT. Beautiful day in the desert on Labor Day. Target with the gloves was at 1051 yards while the other was at 1282 yards. 6.5 Creed and 140 ELDM’s. Couldn’t be happier.

Haha, I haven’t bothered to use those group measuring photo apps. Probably a better way to do it, but I’m used to bringing the calipers and snapping a photo.
So impressed with this rifle. Have had more than a few customs over the last 15 years. The AT doesn’t necessarily shoot smaller groups, it’s just less picky and more consistent string to string. Just doesn’t seem to be bothered by much of anything. So far, I’m of the opinion that the AI hype is not just hype. It’s real.

That’s a very late (circa 07) AICS one year only extended spigot shown with standard spigot below:
To remove it, remove the barreled action from the chassis and remove the skins as necessary.
Drive out the roll pin shown above. Drop the bipod stud. With a flat blade screwdriver, push the spigot as far forward (or back, it’s been a while) as it will go. Wiggle out the sling hook- it’ll be stuck in there pretty well because a rubber puck is holding it in place, then push the spigot out of the aluminum frame.
Duck and cover because this isn’t an AICS thread…. It’s an Accuracy International rifle thread.

Anybody know if a pre-14 AX can use a post-14 forend?
I know there is a difference in attachments being counter bore v counter sunk. Curious if the rail attachment to chassis area has different geometry too.

- Is there a way to find out when it was manufactured?
- How is the rifle set up from an enthusiast perspective? (Bipod, Scope, etc)

If your going to be shooting from prone or a tripod most of the time at le is aight.
Ooooorrrrr you go big flex and get an le, debond that sucker and throw it in a ao vision chassis but bed it with a release agent so you can throw it in either chassis when you want. Then complete the trifecta and find a thumbhole folder just cuz and run that on occasion because you can....

Yea love those sb dtii+ turrets man and the msr2 and lrr reticles. Sold off the zco's as I got tired of compromising on the elevation turret lock and the reticle...

I got beat by everyone there considering I only shot the 2nd day of a 2 day match.
and my year consisted of 1 bolt gun match in Jan and feb and a semi auto match in august. With pretty much zero range time the whole year
ZCO brought me a top 5 finish in the semi auto match tho

No, it's a wrong rifle. Get rid of it (sell it to me) and look for an AWSM in 338 Lapua. That one was in Counter Strike.

It does not, unfortunately the only option is to switch the chassis entirely. Here's a couple photos of mine compared to a new one, 8 bolts on either side vs two in the middle
Sending both my Gen 3 Razors in for elevation turret/parallax knob upgrade.
And picked up a NF 7-35x56 ATACR to take one of their places.

I’ve got another on an AICS LA. Great optic. Edges out the Gen 3 Razor slightly on the brightness.
Don’t bother to ask me about edge clarity or chromatic aberration or depth of field differences because I don’t have a clue what any of that technical jazz means.
