Unless bow hunting 99.9% of big game has been taken by blue jeans or Carhardt bibs with a flannel or hoodie
I always get a chuckle out of photos posing with a kill, where the hunter is decked out head to toe in camo and the guides are wearing carhart and whatever else they had laying around.
Yesterday was a great day in retirement. A cloudy, damp, dreary 37 degree day here in WI. No reason to stay inside, so I decided to go squirrel hunting. It was quiet, almost surreal, in the woods. The squirrels were not very active, so I snuck around and sat around for about 4-1/2 hours to get the limit. That was the first time in 42 years that I didn't have to be somewhere, or be doing something else, when I went on a squirrel hunt. No time limit, no worries, no thoughts of work...a great day!

Assuming, of course, that "most Americans" know what Communism is, and despise it! They might not, thanks to all the "indoctrination" going on in schools, etc.
I swear, every single kid of age 8+ should be "suffered" to watch this film, so that they know what communism is and can learn quickly to despise it.

Hey, I have a camo pile jacket! My wife got it at a yard sale for $3 and when I wear it to work, it makes my coworkers nervous.
So I wear it to work all winter long.

I haven't bow hunted in a long time, being lazy and complacent. But when I did, I didn't use camo. I just used the force: "This isn't the bow hunter you're watching for..."

Hell yeah, my retirement started last week. Tonight my excited wife decided we need a game night with friends. She retired 18 months ago and has been looking forward to my retirement ever since. Enjoy your retirement. You're in transition, the months where you adapt to the new normal. Soon you will be burdened with trying to figure out how you ever had the time to have a job. But you will still really, really enjoy retirement.

Since retiring a long time ago, yes I’m very old, I have either gone shooting, fishing or hunting at least four day out of the week. The best part is you don’t have to go on weekends when places are more crowded. Enjoy your retirement, looks like you’re off to a great start.
Little known fact. This is how the pyramids were built.
The best hunters I knew as a kid were farmers who could sneak up to bow shot on a deer wearing wrangler jeans and a flannel shirt.
+ 5 Saturdays and 1 Sunday and one floating day off.
- Everybody thinks you don’t have shit to do and wants help doing this or that, or can you volunteer for this “job” nobody else wants to do.
* floating day off. “Why do I need a floating day off if I’m retired?” Simple. Say you decide to mow the lawn or paint the bathroom tomorrow. You wake up and decide “It’s a nice day to go fishing…” Floating Day Off.
And that all Republicans are fascist? Or we could stop electing extreme left and right zealots and go back to democracy lead by opposing groups able to work together and not just bitch about the other side and block everything. Government is in gridlock, neither side gets anything done.
