It was my suggestion. I think it's a topic worthy of it's own thread and would hate to see this one get nuked. Having a religious debate can go sideways quickly.

The way I see it is if people feel free to post all manner of other stuff including things that are political, pornographic, blasphemous, insulting, politically incorrect, in poor taste, critical of the government, critical of law enforcement, (continue with the endless list), in the bear pit, well they have no right to complain if they have to skip over a couple posts regarding religion and faith in the same thread.
If having to scroll past some posts on religion and faith before getting to their desired item offends them they should stay out of the Bear pit until such a time that they can handle things like a grown up and not a blue haired gender confused basement dweller.
What do you want to bet it's going to be pretty much proven that at least the sex abuse is widespread, and is happening

I see mods as users. If we disagree on a subject, Ford vs. Chevy, we can disagree about that all day long. It is those that can't take off the mod hat and abuse their power. And I have seen quite a bit of that.
On an old forum I was 180 from a mods position, him very liberal and me....well not so liberal. We had some very heated discussions, but always talked like adults....well with a few yo momma is so fat jokes in there as well, but you get what I mean.
Other users saying he should ban me. Mod came back and said we are disagreeing over a topic, both are being respectful and it was allowed to continue till I left the forum for other reasons (health).
