Well, for about $5,200 in, I guess I have what is essentially the new AT-XC (Gen 3 with bridge, hinge, and "rear grip"). I can see where the guys who bought the remainder of the AT-Xs at near $4K a few months ago would be out even less all totaled, unless I'm just missing something obvious.
I guess the AT-X MIL adds a picatinny rail to the bridge, Cerakotes the action, and adds the B&T brake?
Both of the new offerings definitely have a different optics base than mine...I'm assuming it is because I didn't intend to interface with the picatinny bridge rail..
Not going to lie, I like the looks of the AT-X MIL, and may try to clone a bit. However, I have several other rifle projects that are going to go ahead of that one.
I'll keep the rest of my opinions to myself however until I see what the new AT-Xs are going for at street price. I've been trying to talk a buddy into an AT folder all morning, but he just doesn't want to give up his MRAD SMR...loser

***EDITED***
Definitely see the bolt difference now. That is going to be a welcomed addition to new purchasers.
