This scope was on a FDE AXSR. I just put a TT 7-35 on the SR instead. So the RAL8000 may be moving to a PB AXSA or a new home.
Oh yeah, I know it wasn’t on there to stay. I appreciate the pic! It helps me figure out if I like the look.
Only time I liked the green/tan combo like this is when the green was multicam.

I have a green barrel too. Was black from Mile High but I had em coat it because at the time I had an AX and I really liked that AX “all green” factory look.
Now the AX is gone and have to say, don’t miss it.

Yeah, I tend to agree with you. An FDE AT might look pretty good with a RAL8000 scope though.

the green skins look best with darker more muted "tans" or "browns". burnt bronze or a dark earth brown.
Fde is how she normally sits. That's until I get off my ass and multicam a set of skins. Or old chocolate chip desert camo...hmmmmm.
I like it man! Rocking a little bit of that SCAR 50 shades of FDE thing, which is something I appreciate. Looks a lot better than a sage green AT with the same scope (or at least less discombobulating/unusual).
The epitome of an AI thumb hole working gun. Makes me miss the thumb hole AT, but just a little… ATX chassis is still superior in every way

I love my AT and won't sell it for anything but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want an atx/xc also. There is one at my range in a m81 woodland camo that looks so nice.
had an AX, sold it. still have my AW/ATs.
couldn't get over the tall height over bore and the gun balance just felt wrong. i did like the butt stock though.
I had an AX and felt similar. Prone I don't think there is anything more comfortable but off a bag on obstacles it was just so tall and tippy I couldn't shoot it well. Sold it and wasted a few years of my life and thousands of dollars just to find an AI again.
He's been there the last 2 Saturdays I went. It's mine and my wife's anniversary Saturday so idk if I can get away with it but we'll see lol

It’s also an AE model, MKI or MKII and not an AT, not that it matters… Sad thing is that trigger is probably the best trigger AI ever produced, except for maybe the early target rifles. My son had an AE MKIII and it was a phenomenal rifle…
The AI FDE is just a touch darker than the old Glock FDE. It is definitely more brown than tan.
Bought it a few years ago when they were easy to get along with like 4 mounts. The only luck I have in life is buying gun crap that somehow skyrockets in value not long after.

That was CTSA in New Braunfels. I'm a member at the shorter public range next door, but working on a spot at this place. Only goes out to ~550 but it's about the only option for +300 within a couple of hours.
Recently traded my at-x chassis for the at & vision combo that was listed on here.
Weight was a concern since i mostly shoot hunter matches. Looks like i should be good with my harvester back on and maybe the nv bridge pulled.
IIRC he said that $12k was MSRP and he didn’t pay that out of pocket as a sponsored shooter.
