Accuracy International Picture Thread

AICS1-5NonFolder.png

Anyone want to take bets on what this will finish out at? I am guessing in the $1500-$1900 range...and it is not even a folder...

Several people at the Quantico Shooting Club have purchased MRAD's as the package is about half the price (retail) of the SR. I was working with a guy having issues with his MRAD in .338, he was all over the target, just not on it (could be user error). The action was slick but the trigger was not. Got me to thinking if AI sales have suffered with the price increases. Purely an academic exercise if civilian sales aren't a major factor in growth strategies.

Pic for the thread - Hit indicator at 900yds not liking the MC in 300PRC. :ROFLMAO:

My ATX chassis arrived today and the seller was gracious enough to send the action screws with it.

And for those of you wondering if the action screws are different.. very

ATX on the left, AT on the right.

Both the AT and ATX have different style heads for the front action screws vs the rear. But on the AT all four action screws are 4mm where as on the ATX the front are 3mm and the back are 4mm.

Obligatory picture tax.

I run the atlas cal Gen 2 and cyke double pull as my primary bipods

Had the TBAC as well. But the atlas suited me better

I love the Atlas on my small frame gassers but I want something more substantial for these heavier sticks. I have been intrigued by the Accu-Tac bipods as well but I have never had the chance to play with one in person. I plan to pick up a Cyke Double Pull to try for classes and comps.

I also had the Accutac HD50. Solid bipod. Didn’t go as low as I wanted so I didn’t use it much but was build like a tank

I believe that was the one I had where when you pushed the lever on the leg the leg would slam all the way closed. Made hard for adjustment when the gun was setup.

Have you tried the atlas super cal? The super cal is like the BT65 but everything is doubled in size

That's my only gripe about the AccuTac, otherwise they're my favorite.

Down at Altus with my cousin getting ready for Saturday’s long range challenge match! No idea what to expect as this is an outlaw match…

You’ll have fun. The finals are a bit harder than the earlier matches, but they mix up the stages, and it is a bit of everything. Last years final had a real KYL. (Center hit the first target, fine, the second should be easy……..darned near missed the entire planet earth) The “sailboat” was tough. Used the unknown ranges and they are long.

But generally we have a good time, everyone is friendly and I keep coming back even though it’s an 8 hour drive. (We are family members there, its that nice of a place to shoot)

No idea, I only went for the first time last year.
Having said that this is a zeroing bay on the opposite side as the rock pile
From several years ago. The East side was clear cut. It does affect the range a bit.

The west side has been cut and converted into an Unknown Distance range. It can be tough on days and easy on others. It is L O N G !

This shows the Unknown Distance range to the right. This was a very early picture. It’s a bit greener now.

They’ve added a new bunkhouse and another building just below the main building. Also, added some new berms between the original range and the unknown distance range. It has changed quite a bit even since 2020. Hardly recognizable from when we started shooting there in 2016.

Does anybody know the size of the ejector roll pin. I may or may not have damaged it by putting it back in. Thats what she said. Still functional, but I would like to have spares since I remove them for each new barrel to size brass.
Edit for tax.

Is it a sin to put an FDE barrel in an ES chassis, because it will be painted shortly.

Hella good deal

Was going to buy but don’t need 3 short actions.

On that note looking for a axsr with 300nm bolt. Can be beat up can be barrel less
