Accuracy International Picture Thread

I just verified again that an Honorable discharge with supporting credentials is enough for purchasing the AT-LE. I must be clear that that rifle is the old AT with the AX back end and not the new LE short action based on the AT-XC. I am trying to get everyone accurate information.

This is a definite change in policy from as recent as the beginning of this year. I'll be reaching out to inquire.

Will at-xc be available for mil?
I was told that new AT-XC versionLE rifle is just for department purchase.
Thank you!

Honorable Discharge only -- military retirement not required.

This is great news!

If anyone wants more info I can give specific contact info for my LE guys. I actually do Dealer sales here so I do not generally process LE / Mil orders ( unless huge for ADS types ) so I will have to put each person in touch with an LE guy, but I am here to get good info to folks and get them to the right person.

It may be a change or perhaps it was not well explained previously? I am not sure. If I have a question I just get up and go ask the Mil / LE dudes.

Since I do not work for AI I cannot say for certain, but I can say right now there is only one civilian AT in the building. I did my best to sell all the others. I doubt there will be more AT civilian rifles, but no one knows but AI.

The AT-LE is in fact still here and available to anyone with proper Mil / LE creds. Of course the AT-LE has the AX back end on it but it is pretty darned sexy.
When are the LH Sage Green AXSRs coming in?

This may not be the thread for it (if not, I’ll Move it), but would anyone trade their 18” 308 AT barrel for my 16.5” bartlein WINTAC?
Just some data for you. Same ammo in a 16" vs 19" of mine. Only a 50fps difference and that equates to a 30yrd gain in the 19" before a 175 smk goes transonic. Unless that little bit makes a difference for you I'd personally keep the 16.5.

Oh I understand. This is me trading a spare barrel to help a buddy fit a barrel into his atx, his current barrel doesn’t work.

This is a bummer, I wanted the Mil/LE AT-XC lol. I sold the AT-LE a few years back, cool gun.

I'll gladly take your AX Buttstock off your hands if you do.

This was definitely the case, even with my MIL credentials on file at MHS and my wanting an AT-LE. Or even an AXSA that, for whatever reason, the model being a MIL/LEO exclusive only through them.
Promise i will hit you up first if i go through with this and decide to sell it!!!

If memory serves, regular AW mags work fine in an AX. The special AX mags pop in a little more securely. They have a little catch bumped out on the front, making them unusable in an AT unless you cut and pound the catch flush.

So I have tried a lot of thumb rest contraptions for my AXMC. The ones I have tried all have compromises. Some interfere with the folding stock locking.

I ran into this one from MBE Ballistics. It is billet machined and perfectly blends into the skins and chassis. It is ambidextrous. It has a curved rest that is comfortable and is adjustable front to rear.

Here it is on my MC

It is really amazing. It was about $95 total, including shipping from London that cost $35.

Can someone get him to make one for axsr? It blows my mind no one has came up with a good one yet.
