Best Ballistics App 2025

Sorry for beating a dead horse with this repetitive question but which is the BEST Ballistics app of 2025?

Hey I’m stuck between multiple different apps and I wanted to know y’all opinion on these apps in comparison.

This is for New/Updated Apps currently available on both iPhone and Android devices. Not an old app that is no longer available (Strelok Pro)

Unfortunately, “SBC” could not be added to this list because of multiple crashing issues that many people are experiencing, including myself, and it hasn’t been resolved in months. However, “SBC Light” works fine.

They were a few more apps that could have been mentioned but I reached a max on the poll and eliminated the ones that weren’t included.

Also, keep in mind that these were apps that were free to download

It has to be an app that uses AB CDMs and PDMs. Those are critical pieces of data that are very difficult to fully duplicate as an amateur shooter, even for 1 bullet. Hornady uses an adjustable “multiplier”, but its accuracy depends on your downrange impact data being absolutely precise. The one constant that I have learned about shooters who are absolutely confident in their personal skill, data, and repeatability is I shouldn’t trust their solutions.

ABQ is truly the only option at this point. And it’s only a yearly fee if you want to unlock Pro. It’s either a one time fee for Elite or you buy a device with Elite onboard such as a Kestrel 5700 Elite. More and more devices are getting rolled into the ABQ environment.

It has its limitations, such as only one device can connect to it at once. But it is still the top of the heap. The research and data that Litz and crew put into it just cannot be replicated any other way with any other tool.

I'm still running Strelok. Based on all the people I shoot with succesafully running AB, I am going to download and learn how to use it.

AB Quantum in the sense of most features, but in the end whichever app you become most proficient with will be your “best”.

I’m such a nerd I’ve got at least a dozen I like to play with and compare against each other. Also it depends on the distances you are typically shooting to. Almost all of the apps are good to 1k, others are good to 1200 and the list gets shorter beyond that.

I like AB, Hornady 4DOF, and TRASOL the best of the many I’ve tried. Each one has its pros and cons but with minimal tweaking I can get them accurate to a mile.

I'm also still using Strelok Pro.
For the most part its good enough for what I need.

The one thing I don't like is I wish it had an edit mode that you did all your adjsutments in, then locked it.

That way there would be less screens to go through when selecting a rifle and load, and less chance of accidentally changing data.

Do any of the new apps do this better than Strelok?
