Poor experience with warranty service at Bullet Central. Any senior from the company on this forum?

I recently had a frustrating and disappointing experience with Bullet Central regarding a malfunctioning Bix N Andy trigger. The trigger had locked up and wasn’t functioning correctly despite being used lightly and maintained as well as I could.

I reached out to Bullet Central support and was in touch with Jacob M . I provided detailed information, photos, and even a video to illustrate the problem. His response? Clean it. You are not cleaning it well. I disassembled everything to parts and assembled. Still not working. Response you do not know how to assemble so I will have to charge you.

2A companies are usually more customer centric than normal companies. This one is terrible.

I asked if I could send the unit in for evaluation and was told I could—but that any repairs would not be covered under warranty. I was shocked. No acknowledgment of possible manufacturer defect, no ownership of customer support responsibility—just a flat response that I’d be charged regardless.

The entire interaction felt dismissive and transactional. For a premium product sold by a company that markets itself as a leader in precision shooting, the lack of accountability and empathy was troubling. Jacob’s tone and unwillingness to assist meaningfully made the experience even more frustrating.

If you’re considering buying or servicing Bix N Andy trigger through Bullet Central, think twice. If anything goes wrong, don’t expect much.

I had very well priced Berger bullets over $1200 in the cart. Was checking with them why a coupon was not working before ordering. Thanks to this experience that business is going to someone else.

TL;DR: Poor warranty service from Bullet Central for BixNAndy trigger. Technician was dismissive and unhelpful. Would not recommend the company and because of the company being sole distributor the trigger which otherwise is amazing.

Not dismissing your experience, but they've always been very helpful and nice. I always buy any b n a trigger from them, as they'll install/swap the correct top sear free of charge. Beats ordering it with a med when you know you'll need a low or high, and then buying correct top sear for another 40.00.

Wow. I was told

Bix n Andy triggers for experts. I was pretty much told that I being a moron don’t know how to handle the trigger and therefore don’t deserve having nice things like this. He said we sell this trigger assuming user will know how to make it work. It’s not our job to clear or adjust it. Made me disassemble all parts and then blamed me for not knowing how to put it together.

Yeah it’s true I am not expert on BixNAndy trigger at least yet.

I guess I just got an assole to deal with. More than the trigger. The way he made me feel like an idiot pissed me off.

If you all know any seniors from the company please tag them. Else big ocean lot of fish. No need to feel mistreated by people who have no job to be in customer service.

I kind of believe there was a communication issue going on here. I understand that you are upset, I really don’t think Jacob meant to be rude, though I understand that is how you received it. I think if you talked to their customer service team again you would be surprised.

Sounds like you don’t know how to set up the trigger to me. I agree with them, if you had it apart and something was broke it should have been readily apparent. That it wasn’t makes me think you need to measure your sear clearances to ensure you have an appropriate top sear and then just… set it up.
Take a picture of its internals set up before you put the side plate back on.

Exactly. Thank you for reminding me of the feeling I was starting to forget.

This is how he also made me feel. An idiot who should not buy high end stuff like the Bix N Andy trigger because he NOT is trained on putting back the piece of art.

Lesson learned.

Well the communication was clear. Possibly not BC official policy. Possibly it is. I contacted them on FB too.

I have also sent a note to the manufacturer to see what’s their position on this.

Else back to TT Diamond.

Based on your comments I think the Trigger Tech would fit your expectations/experience level better. It is a sealed unit, not much to do other than mount it and adjust the pull weight. Good unit, but the BnA pro X is a much better trigger in my opinion.
I guess I will say things a bit clearer. I tried to give you an excuse but you wouldn’t take it. Either there was a communication issue issue or you were being an asshole and got what you deserved.

I appreciate you sharing your opinion, even if we strongly disagree. My original intention was simply to inform others about my genuine experience, not seek validation or get an “excuse” from you.

While you’re entitled to your perspective, civility and respect go a long way in meaningful discussions. Perhaps your standards differ from mine, but personally, I expect accountability and basic courtesy from businesses (and forum members)—especially those that pride themselves on customer service.

I sincerely hope you never find yourself needing similar support. However if you do. I won’t come to the forum and take you down, call you assole, offer you excuse, or tell you, you don’t deserve good components. I guess we have different philosophies.

All the best sir. Live long and thrive.

There's a bunch of parts and particular way to reassemble. I've had my first back off on adjustments, so now, after I get it set to my liking, I fully disassemble it and put clear nail polish on set screws to hold them(except 1 screw has a nylon rod that adds resistance to loosening).
Yeah. I see that. Being able to take it off and put other is good too. I guess I will figure it out.

Bullet central blows... Had to argue with a their head machinist about a reamer blueprint for a die they make. In the end i got a die that worked but to your point pictures measurements and ultimately sending them fired brass.... I got a free die

Trust me, I have needed that and much more. I calked them because I totally turned a $350 pro X into a bag of parts. we had a good chuckle over it and he let me know they could put it back together for a small set charge, totally reasonable. I have had similar dealings with many of the vendors here. Treat them with respect and everything goes well. Act like you are entitled to free stuff or disrespect them and well you have seen what you get.

Thank you. Getting this kind of information is why I shared.

Companies should learn from MPA or Seekins. Every time I have issues with anything they just blow your mind with service. I own 15 rifle between them and 5 of these I just bought for fun after an amazing service experience when I did not need it.

When we go to range one time and shoot $500 of ammo, most of us don’t care about $40 repair fee or even $280 trigger.

We do this hobby for fun. We want to feel good. Cared for and we assume price of the product reflect service in there.

You have your experience and “chuckle” and j have mine.

I don’t disrespect you for yours.

Please extend the same courtesy to me and people like me and not disrespect my anger and frustration.

I don’t know anything about you and you have no idea about me and my value system. So let’s not judge who is looking for free stuff and who feels violated by poor customer experience. Leave it boss!!

Loosing component. Oh my god. I nearly lost the top seat spring twice and one of the balls once. Spend 45 min finding those. I just hope I have not lost anything that’s why it’s not working.

Is there a Bill of Material you this trigger anywhere. Will cross reference and see if I am missing a spring or something

It’s been amazing experience today 😀.

I will learn too. I am a tinkerer. It’s just very frustrated right now with the whole things (and some takedown comments here 😀).

Thank you appreciate it. Posted here with hopes of this type of help.

Of small parts
1). I have two large balls
2). 1 small ball by the trigger
3). One small spring that goes under the small ball
4). One large spring that goes under top sear

Test are larger parts. Is there anything I may have dropped lost small parts wise.

Edited for clarity - I have tacsport Pro 2 stage and single stage. Not familiar with the Comp model personally.

That really small ball and corresponding tiny spring are not required for function. It serves to center the trigger shoe. For me, that is the toughest part to get back in place, so I just don’t mess with it. I have 5 Bixn Andy triggers at last count, and have helped others get them running.

The times I have seen trouble are when the trigger gets water or solvent inside it, or when the sear is adjusted incorrectly. I helped a fellow shooter sitting on the steps of a cabin disassemble, clean, and reassemble one before a match last year.

That’s about the trigger. The customer service does seem shockingly poor. I have had good experiences with them, but don’t dismiss yours.

Well. It’s not the company the person you get. And I don’t have issue paying a bit for that. But I did feel rubbed the wrong way with the suggestion that you need some kind of pixie dust to own a BnA trigger

Also I guess likes it Seekins and MPA and even TT have spoiled me by being extra kind when they don’t have to be and in return they get huge loyalty and $$ from me and everyone else.

Have people seen how Glen Seekins and crew behave when there is customer service issue. That’s what you need in customer service business.

Anyway. I was super angry. Now I am lemonade of lemons. Let’s bloody master this trigger. If Jacob can do it I can do it 😀

This is how mine looked this afternoon when j put it back.

I had an experience similar to yours where I lost a ball or spring when I was cleaning one of mine several years back. I called Bullet Central and tried to order parts, but they sent me two of whatever I was missing free of charge. In fact, I told them it was my fault and that I’d pay, but they wouldn’t let me.

Not sure how your interaction went south, but the way I word things and the tone of my voice usually determines how defensive someone else gets. As men, we usually don’t take disrespect or condescension very well and tend to push back. This might be a “catch more flies with honey” type of a situation as opposed to an issue within Bullet Central. I know for certain that it was in my case.

Yes. That one I figured out just poring over many many pictures over two days. It’s the return spring that I was not clear on. I should not have disassembled under time pressure to send a pucture to BC that I disassembled everything and cleaned. I should have taken the time to first understand each part. That’s how I lost it.

It’s okay. We will figure it out.

@ypmishra, I’m sure you’ve realized that more than a few members on here know absolutely everything there is to know about every component on a rifle and they also believe that every manufacturer or vender can do no wrong. They like to insult, belittle and call people names. Ignore them, they are assholes. Some people on here actually have good advice. The assholes, not so much.
