I realize this has been covered in the past but it’s been a few years.

Regular SP10s now come with (via Seekins)
-updated heavy barrel .875 (same as M)
-updated +1.5 gas
-Magpul PRS stock.

I’ve had a regular SP10 in 6.5cm on order, through Eurooptics for 3 months now. Looks like they added the ability to “Reserve” a few of the M models.

Given the price difference, roughly $1,400, is the extra QC and attention to each rifle worth the squeeze? Or is the regular SP10 the way to go, with the new upgrades, for us folk that might change a trigger, stock, etc in the future? ….and buy more ammo😃

Buy a used SP10. Throw the barrel, gas block, buffer, spring, and BCG in the trash. Replace with a custom barrel, gas block, and JP guts. Best you can get. The barrel is going to make 85% of the difference. You just need to find someone that knows truly accurate gas gun barrels. If you need a rec, PM me. I'll connect you.

6 one way 1/2 dozen the other. Order the M, wait, and feed it ammo when it arrives. Or, find a used SP10, shoot & enjoy it now, upgrade as you see fit. I went the latter and found a good deal on a used SP10 6.5cm. It came with the dual-ejector bolt and +2 gas system, still has the single spring buffer system. I've only swapped out the Timney for a MBT-2S and it shoots fantastic. The only other change I've considered is swapping to the select-adjustable gas block.

I’ve got a regular SP10 on order right now, been waiting about 3 months which is crazy for the production model. Got a good deal on it through Eurooptic at the time. Had them quote me an “M” model the other day it was close to $1,800 more all said and done. Crazy in my opinion! Good looking rifle btw!

It's a Mullerworks blank in Heavy Varmint I had a friend/gunsmith buddy of mine built. It took us about 6 weeks to put the barrel together as we went through three different barrel extensions to get one that fed 140 hybrids reliably and without messing up the tips and scratching the ogive. Friction fit gas journal, port cut, in the groove and for my assembled rifle with my NRL Hunter load. He did a fantastic job and I'm pretty psyched about it. He left as much meat in the barrel as possible. I can PM you his deets if you're looking to get one made
